U2 will headline the halftime show of the NFL's first ever Thanksgiving Eve game, a Packers Rams matchup streaming live on Netflix on November 25th. It's a notable crossover for U2, who has mostly stayed away from the NFL's biggest stages. Netflix has been building out its live sports slate, and this is one of the highest profile music bookings yet. Details on the setlist haven't been announced.

Jay-Z has reportedly chosen himself to headline the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show. According to multiple outlets, the move would reportedly pass over other names that had been floated for the slot. Jay-Z's company, Roc Nation, has produced the halftime show in partnership with the NFL for several years now. An official announcement from the NFL is expected soon.

Motley Crüe announced an eight-show 2027 Las Vegas residency called Carnival of Sins in Sin City, set for March and April at the Coliseum at Caesar's Palace. It's their first dedicated Vegas residency under that banner. The shows promised the band's usual over-the-top production value. Tickets go on sale later this week.

She Wants Revenge announced their first new album in over 15 years, titled The Loved, due out February 12th. They shared the first single, Black Wax, Our Love, alongside the announcement. This is unusual for She Wants Revenge, who built a cult following in the mid-2000s dark wave scene. No word yet on touring plans to support the record.

Papa Roach announced a 30-day US tour for 2027, bringing along Ice Nine Kills and Ninth Key as support. It's one of the bigger rock package tours announced so far for next year. The band's been a steady live draw for over two decades at this point. Tickets for the new dates go on sale this week.

Bon Jovi has been confirmed as the first headliner for BST Hyde Park 2027 in London, with the band calling it a full circle moment. The show is part of a bigger run of stadium dates planned across the UK, Australia, the US and Canada next year. Hyde Park's BST series has become one of the UK's marquees summer concert events. Presale details are expected in the coming weeks.

The creative team behind Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Rhone's Expectations music video pushed back on accusations that AI was used to make it, sharing behind-the-scenes footage to prove the visuals were shot practically. The claims had spread quickly online after some viewers flagged what they thought were AI artifacts. Rodrigo herself also addressed the rumors directly. That's the latest example of artists having to publicly defend real creative work against AI suspicion.

And finally, Moona's tour bus caught fire on a California freeway near Norwalk after a show at Stanford, but the whole band confirmed they're safe with no injuries reported. The bus itself didn't fare as well. Fans flooded their socials with relief once the band posted an update. Glad to hear there were no injuries. And it's Tuesday.
