Good, man. I'm happy we got football back. We got some football stories, man.

I'm so stoked for it, bro. This season is going to be epic. Last night's game wasn't the best, but I just know this season is going to be awesome. So I don't even care. I'm just happy it's back.

Tony (1:30)

Yes. We got a bit of a special episode. We're changing it up today. So like I said, football starting. So we got some football stories. Our first story, the infamous Daejon Love. So for those who don't know who Daejon Love is, can you give everybody a little bit of context on who this guy is, what he's in trouble for and yeah.

Luca (1:49)

I mean, honestly, I got to say, if you don't know who Daejon Love is at this point, you're living under a rock. Cause this guy is either a man of genius, actually, I mean, let me say he would be a man of genius if he got away with it, but this guy pulled off one of the most elaborate ruses I've ever seen acting as a fake San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, coming equipped with the helmet, the skull cap, the highlights.

Tony (2:10)

You know what, I was just about to bring that up, the highlights, quote, unquote. When I seen that beach video, I was like, dude, how could you not tell this guy's not a real football player?

Luca (2:22)

I mean, no offense to our lady listeners, but I feel like sometimes I mean, I think you and I would be able to see that and be like, this guy's either a practice squad guy or to somebody having fun with his buddies. But I feel like through the untrained eyes, seeing some guy run around the sand, I feel like you could get away with the excuse saying, oh, it's on the sand, it's hard to run on the sand. And that's actually harder than it looks, you know? I think you could make that argument.

Tony (2:44)

That's true, that's a good point, yeah.

Luca (2:46)

With that being said, you watched Stefan Diggs or one of these other wide receivers run on the sand, it's just not the same thing at all.

Tony (2:50)

And plus, we can't show any of these videos, unfortunately, but when he did this, do you see the Instagram video of his signing day where he signed a contract? Where are we signing? Where are we signing? That's not how that works at all.

Luca (3:03)

That's like if you're in high school and you're committing to go play for the Florida Gators or something, that's what you do. But in a scenario where for the NFL, you are not signing a contract in your living room, saying, man, I'm taking my talents to the 49ers. That doesn't happen.

Tony (3:16)

You know what that weirdly reminded me of? The AB video where he found out that he got let go by the Raiders and he posted it. Yeah.

Luca (3:24)

And he runs out of his room and he's like, I'm free. Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about.
