Courtney Clenney’s Father Speaks Out After Manslaughter Sentence

I'm doing good. You know what, I don't want to say it because I feel like it's going to jinx, but I feel like this day is going by fast. It's already about to be a two o'clock. But as soon as I say that, watch, we're going to be here for the next 10 hours.

Yeah, so let's get into some news, some hard news, and then we'll go into some light, fun news towards the end of this show. We're going to start off with Courtney Clenney. Her father is speaking out after she pleaded guilty to manslaughter. For those who don't know the Courtney Clenney situation, I don't know if you remember back in 2022, she was arrested after she fatally stabbed her boyfriend during what she says was an argument, a dispute, and she stabbed him in self-defense. That was kind of like her claim to everything. Now, four years later, she has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and she received a six-year prison sentence, which for those years will be credited to her as she has been in prison for the last four years after being arrested.
So basically, she'll be out in less than two years. Her dad spoke out, and he basically said, Courtney still has a future ahead of her. As her father, I'm looking forward to that day as she can begin rebuilding her life. Her mother did not speak at the press conference. We have the video. We'll play it for you.

Today is about moving past all that.
What matters to me now is that for the first time in more than four years, there was an end in sight. Courtney has a future ahead of her. As her father, I'm looking forward to that day that she can be, she can begin rebuilding her life. I'm looking forward to the day I can sit across from her face to face and hug her and tell her how much I love her.

So that was her father just speaking. You know, Kara, this situation is a very interesting one.
You know, less than two years after that and such a heavy situation. It's interesting, her father saying and of course he should. He's looking hopeful. He's like, I can't wait for her to come back and start her life. And I'm sure him and her mother will support, you know, Courtney in any way possible. But how do you feel? I know you've never been in a situation like that. But do you think like those type of things are able, are you able to bounce back so quickly? Of course, you always say like life goes on. You want people to heal from past mistakes. But this case was so huge.

Yeah, I feel like it really takes time.

**Kay McCabe** (2:55)
Yeah.

**Cara Rainwater** (2:56)
Maybe years and years down the line. This is a big situation. I don't know what that looks like for her, but definitely needs some time to heal and, you know, get yourself together.

And I know Courtney was an OnlyFans model. And, you know, because certain jobs won't even hire you.

Oh, yeah. Do OnlyFans?

Yeah, with a certain record. I wonder, I think OnlyFans wouldn't have that rule, right? Like, I feel like they would take her back. Like, she'd be able to continue that OnlyFans career, right?

Probably. Unless her account, like, gets banned or something from, like, mass reports or something. But other than that, I think OnlyFans would probably.

And not to go too left in this conversation, but, you know, some people like the criminal aspect. And, like, you see, like, with Richard Ramirez, who was a serial killer in LA back in the 80s. Like, women thought he should have been a model, like, his other life instead of being a serial killer, and women would send him nudes and send him freaky little letters and things like that.

It's like a little kink, I guess.

Fantasy or something that people have. And so I think her OnlyFans career would be fine to continue.

It would probably be better than it was before, honestly.
