All America All the Time. On the side of freedom and liberty, your voice of hope and truth is here.

The Bongino Report, PM, with Dan Bongino.

Dan Bongino (0:32)

Hey Jim, happy Columbus Day. I know with your very Italian last name like mine, it is a proud day for not just Italian Americans, but for all people interested in an honest telling of history. Jim and I do not attack inanimate statues, try to rip them, but they will not attack back. I promise they are concrete, sometimes marble and other expensive things.

They will not hit back. They are defenseless. So producer Jim and I actually believe in an honest telling of history. I'll get to more of that later with the money quote, right Jim, and the money quote from a great Italian American.

Oh, we don't want to leave Mike out either. Producer Mike with also a very Italian sound last name. When you get a name like Bongino, it is really hard to imagine it being anything other than Italian. It was Bongiorno.

My great-grandparents, when they came over, they wrote it down wrong in the book on Ellis Island, and it was a Bongino from that point on. So welcome to the Bongino Report PM. Always good to have you here. You know, it's Monday, so Jim and I were texting this weekend. Jim had a bad weekend, folks. So he's at JJ Verde on X if you'd like to send him condolences. I know I feel really bad, because I had no dog in the fight. Jim and I love college football. You know, the NFL, I don't know, I'm still getting over the whole Kaepernick thing. I mean, really, I'll tune in occasionally, but it's tough. But college football I love, and Jim is a big Texas Longhorns fan. And man, I told you at halftime, Jim, right? I was like, you gotta stay frosty. And it didn't work.

SPEAKER_3 (2:12)

And I told you too, I said, I don't like it that they're this close.

Dan Bongino (2:15)

I did, I can actually read the text. He did not like it at all. So sorry about that. Auburn was off this week, so we...

But what happened with The Gators? The Gators came out like a ball of fire this year. And they're like, what the hell is going on here? You know, give me something else. Go Gators too, man. All right, listen, this is gonna be one of those shows where it's gonna go in one direction, but it's not the direction. It's like, I'm telling you in advance, this is gonna be one of those like...

This is gonna be one of those intentional misdirection things. I don't want to give away too much, but I need you to stay tuned. It's about the midterms. You know, when I left my prior job and the job before that, and I came back on the radio and TV and elsewhere, I said to you, you know, you learn quick over there in that position I was in at the FBI, that when something gets to your desk, it's a level 10 decision. A level 10 decision is very simply a decision that there's really no great answer.

Sometimes there's a bad answer and a worse answer. Sometimes, if you'll allow me to make up words, sometimes it's not even that. Sometimes, Jim, it's a worse answer and a worser answer. I know it's not, I mean, but you get the point. And that's why it's at your desk.

Well, how does that relate to this election?

Well, here's the flipping of the script. This isn't it. This is, I can't say this enough. This election is a ground ball. You have, the choice is so crystal clear. This isn't even a level one decision. This is like a level zero decision. You've got a group of people on Team Blue, which is not Team America. I'm very sorry, they are not Team America. You've got this political class of people dominated by Pocahontas, Bernie Sanders, Mamdami, AOC, running on ideas so antithetical to American values and principles that I'm stunned that any kind of blue collar Democrat would even consider Team Blue in this election cycle.

And how is it, a point that'll come up today throughout the show, how is it that Team Blue, which is not Team America, they're just not, and you should not be afraid to say it. How is it that Team Blue always picks the worst, quote, heroes? The worst.

These aren't even goats. These aren't even, when I was growing up in New York, there was a sports writer, and he'd have the hero and the goat thing, and he was a cartoonist. I don't know if you remember that, Jim. I don't know if it was the Daily News or the Post or whatever. And whatever, you made an error, you were the goat, you pitched the shutout, you were the hero, whatever it was. This isn't even like heroes and goats. This is like Republicans who, Donald Trump has cooked for the last two years. He's cooked the border crime, the economy, and not everything's peaches and cream. We've got to do some work on the inflation front and everybody understands that. But this has been an incredible two years, an incredible two years. The other side is running on open borders. The other side is running, I named the podcast today. Let me paint a picture for you. Check it out on Rumble, I encourage you to. The other side is running on open borders. Mass mail and balloting, zero election integrity measures whatsoever, not free and fair elections, packing the Supreme Court, packing the US. Senate by adding seats, confiscatory taxes, wiping out school choice. We just had a huge win last week on the Second Amendment. It's not permanent. I worry about it. We still get the law change. However, they want to take away your guns, take away your right to protect yourself, defund the police. This is not hard. This choice is clear. It's like kicking you right in the nose. It's like kick me in the... It is. It's like the Democrats... It's the Beavis and Butthead coach. Like they're kicking you in the stones. Kick me in the Jimmy. That's what they're... That should be their campaign slogan nationwide. Vote Democrat, we'll kick you in the Jimmy.
