Not a good weekend, Jim. Not a good weekend.
You're gonna ask me why? Oh, I know why. You know why. Folks, you know, I love me some Auburn Tigers football, and I thought we had one, man. I thought we had one. I thought we were gonna pull it out. I even texted Jim, I'm like, is it, is it happening? I should have known. I jinxed it. I caused the loss. It's my fault. It's my fault. Up at halftime. Congratulations, by the way, to Tennessee fans. I love all our SEC folks out there. You're all, you've always been so great to me. Every time I go to games, even the away fans, you're really awesome. But man, I thought we had one. It really, I was in such a good mood too. I was, I was like, it was Saturday. I had this friend of mine over, he owns a local restaurant, and we were having such a good time. It was one of those, there was some mild social, so what do they call, what do they call vodka sodas or tequilas or mild social lubricants or whatever. So we were all like in a great, nobody was driving anywhere in the world, but it was just a great, and I know, oh, Burn Man, oh, you're killing me. We gotta get it together. Listen, important stuff coming up. We are about a month out from an election. I take that back, we're actually not a month out because early voting has already begun. So we're already in the early voting stages. And I'm gonna get to this throughout today's show today. The point I've been trying to make, and I'm gonna drive home over the next 30 days because it's critical. This is a contrast election. Your choices are A or B. They're binary. There were a lot of people who wished we had more of a parliamentarian type system where there were multiple parties and pluralities and representatives and primaries. That's not what we have. I don't like that system, I prefer a republic. However, the two-party system is the worst system in the world despite every other system, right? It's the most imperfect system despite every other one, right? We have a choice. It is a contrast election, and I am encouraging you, and I've got receipts coming up, so please don't go anywhere. Incoming data and receipts that whoever's telling you and hyping up this narrative that the blue tsunami evidence is everywhere, forget it, republicans stay home, don't show everyone's going to lose, it's going to be 400 plus wins on the house side. The data, the actual receipts do not back that up. They don't. It's not just my opinion. When you look at early voting numbers, we'll get into that. When you look at polling data, voter enthusiasm, they do not back that up. And in a contrast election where you have choice A or choice B, you're never going to get everything you want. And I don't say that, I don't say that in any way to minimize the experience of people out there who say, listen, I've got some concerns, like I fueled up my tank, the gas prices are, those are absolutely critical, legitimate concerns. However, you've got a president committed to energy production in the United States, and rebuilding our domestic production capabilities. And he's done such an amazing job, I'll show you the incoming later on, natural gas production has now reached the highest levels in the United States we've had in eons.
So you've got a president committed to a pro-energy agenda, getting more assets in the pipeline so the costs come down. And then you've got the Democrat Party out there, you know, I've never called them Democratic because they're not, led by a bunch of anti-fossil fuel tyrants, they're actively suing in the Supreme Court right now, the city of Boulder, to make sure natural gas companies basically get litigated out of business. How the hell is that going to lower your gas prices? The answer, it will not.
It will not.
Folks, I'll put this president's two-year record and the party, warts and all, I'll put the two-year record up against any two-year record, any two-year record of any president, Republican or Democrat.
Crime crushed the border. I mean, think about what we were handed. I mean, the context of this matters. I know it matters to you.
We were handed this administration, you know, me included, the first year I was there. We were handed a mess, a completely weaponized justice system. You know, we had to unload about 10 percent of the workforce and then produce, you know, 50, 60 percent more results with fewer people, because we had to get rid of so many people. The border, the border was a total mess. 20 million people in the country. There were not enough federal agents in the first month to deport everyone all at once, but the record numbers of deportations and the control of the border have unquestionably stemmed a hemorrhaging wound.
