Appreciate it. You know, a week can be a lifetime in news, but it is great to be back. It's been an eventful news-filled week in my personal life.

How is it going?

It's all the things, Jill. It's amazing. It's wonderful. It's exhausting, right? You were telling me you're like one is one, two is 10 So we now have two children. One is a young toddler and one week old, beautiful little Charlotte, born to us last Sunday. Our beautiful girl with a full head of hair arrived at 41 weeks. So she took her time there, weighing in at a very healthy nine and a half pounds. So major kudos there to mama Alex, my beautiful wife, my warrior of a wife. We're overwhelmed with love and gratitude, thankful to God that she is healthy, that mama is healthy and just so excited, so in love right now.
It's been a really incredible, I can't believe it's only been a week, feels much longer than that.
But everyone thankfully doing great. Mom was a warrior again, Al was about 24 hours of labor. Everyone was telling us the second kid is going to come quicker, you got to be careful, you got to get to that hospital.
Now, that was shorter than her sister, but still Alex did incredibly during labor. We had, as our OB said last Sunday morning, a breakfast baby just before 6 AM.
Beyond welcoming a beautiful girl into our family, I think one of the most incredible things that it's hard to understand until you see it is watching the sibling relationship develop. Watching Olivia's reaction as she came to meet her baby sister at the hospital. We've been building this up. There's no shortage show of Instagram videos and TikTok videos with advice. I had to introduce the young one to the older one. But what was amazing is we got home and Olivia gets home from camp and she runs to greet her baby sister, stops in her tracks. She goes, Oh, I got to wash my hands. I touched the bus. So already taking her responsibility seriously, even at just shy of three years old, I need to go wash my hands, checking on that and also super concerned anytime the baby cries, trying to figure out why the baby is crying, trying to sing to her. So that has been really powerful to see and really amazing to see. I can only imagine how that relationship develops over time.
