Hey, everybody, it is Wednesday, September 30th. You're listening to the Mo News podcast. I'm Moshe Oinounou.
Jill Wagner (0:08)
And I'm Jill Wagner. This is the place where we bring you just the facts.
Mosheh Oinounou (0:12)
And where we read all the news and read between the lines on this International Podcast Day. I didn't know that for September 30th, but now I know. And Jill, what better way to celebrate than with all of you.
Jill Wagner (0:23)
Right, this is a day, Moshe, that is supposed to be a celebration of the power of podcasts. So a big thank you to our listeners. We do not do marketing here at the Mo News Podcast.
Mosheh Oinounou (0:33)
Paid marketing.
Jill Wagner (0:34)
Yes, Moshe, a big distinction there. And we would really appreciate if you listeners, if you like the podcast, if you would tell your friends about us. We really rely on word of mouth. So all of that is a big help to us.
Mosheh Oinounou (0:46)
Yeah, and you know, this day really celebrates the power of podcasting. And we have learned that over the last few years, more than 1200 episodes already of the Mo News Podcast, hundreds of interviews from government leaders to CEOs to people out there, just having an impact. And I often interact with many of you. You come up to me at the airport, on the street in New York, on the subway, a whole variety of places talking about listening to the podcast and the stories that have impacted you.
And certainly, we have heard from various companies and leaders who are like, hey, I listened to your podcast and I really like that story. That story really struck a chord and led to a conversation here. So we are realizing and continuing to see the impact that this podcast has. And as we like to say, this podcast is sticky. Once you listen to it, you're like, oh, I really like this podcast. It gives me the news, but it feels like I'm giving the news for my friends. And that's something we like to do here. And so again, grateful for all of you. And if you can continue to help support us, that would be great by becoming a premium member or giving one time donation over on our website over at Mo.News.

All right, let's get to the headlines here. What happened at the big AI summit at the White House? For one, the technology officially got a new name, Super Intelligence. It was a who's who of tech leaders, but the big headline, no new federal regulations on the technology.
Mosheh Oinounou (2:07)
Trump hasn't renamed something in a while. So he had the whole Lake Ontario and renamed. Now he's going to rename AI. It'll be interesting to see how much that it takes. It was very friendly. Jill, I've never seen anything like this. The power assembled around Trump yesterday, the number of tech CEOs worth several trillion dollars standing there with him. We'll get into that and what could come next.
Jill Wagner (2:27)
To the Middle East and after two decades, the last US forces leave Iraq.
Mosheh Oinounou (2:33)
Really incredible moment here, 20 years plus since the first invasion.
Jill Wagner (2:38)
Lindsay Clancy back in court for the first time since her mistrial and in a first, her attorney is now questioning whether she killed her children.
Mosheh Oinounou (2:47)
Yeah, even talking about her ex-husband, looks like Reddington, the attorney, is just spending some time on TikTok and Instagram. We'll tell you what this means as we look potentially at a second trial.
Jill Wagner (2:57)
To the alleged gang rape at Cornell, there are new text messages that reveal some additional details about the case.
Mosheh Oinounou (3:03)
It comes as the governor has called for an independent investigation and the state attorney general is also looking into the handling of this case.
Jill Wagner (3:10)
Ever walk into a room and forget why you're there? A new study suggests that the aging brain is adapting, not declining. We'll explain.
Mosheh Oinounou (3:19)
Some good news, Jill, for folks who are aging.
Jill Wagner (3:24)
And a cosmic first, radio waves coming from an alien planet, what it could mean.
Mosheh Oinounou (3:29)
Jill, we saw this headline and it felt like pulled straight out of contact with Jodie Foster, if you guys remember that film from a while ago.
Jill Wagner (3:36)
And Moshe is on this day in history.
Starting with a meeting at the White House between President Trump, House Speaker Mike Johnson and major tech leaders. And really, it was a who's who of everyone in AI.
