Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Tim Dillon Show, the weekly podcast we've done here for 10 years.

Benjamin Netanyahu (0:07)

Whoa.

Tim Dillon (0:09)

We thank everyone for listening, of course. And it's a beautiful week because it's the week of the United Nations General Assembly, a time when all of our differences kind of melt away, it feels, and then everyone kind of gets together, all the different countries get together, and they're all unique and they're all special in their own way, and everybody kind of comes together to discuss the events, the events, the world, the climate and war and the global economy. And there's some controversy, but we're like a family. The world is a family, and every family has a couple of nuts.

And when you're a big family, like we are, our planet, it's a little messy out there, and sometimes things boil over, and people get into squabbles, and people get upset with each other. But that doesn't mean we're not a family. We're a global community. And there's room for everyone in this community. And I'm sick of the people who are trying to divide us. We have to bring us together. I commend Benjamin Netanyahu for coming and giving a speech, because even though people have been very mean to him, and they said they're going to arrest him, he shows up with a big motorcade, and I believe he threatened, he said, we have special forces everywhere, so if you try anything, we'll try something too. You know, but I respect the fact that he comes, and he gives a speech at the UN General Assembly, even when people have been so down on him, and they've been frankly pretty nasty to Benjamin Netanyahu, and I would like to, yeah, Netanyahu says, yes, special forces ready if he's detained or arrested. I like that. He's basically saying, listen, we're ready. That's where he's at. He goes, we're ready. If you pull something, we're ready.

So here he is. Now a lot of people walked out before he delivered his speech, and I don't love that, but he's there to deliver a speech.

And I don't know what reaction he was anticipating. I imagine he thought to himself, there's gonna, people are gonna be angry at us. I imagine that went through his head as he was coming in, flying in on his jet. What is it called? The wings of Zion? Or the line of the sky or whatever? I don't know, but as he was landing, he probably looked at somebody next to him and said, hey, they're gonna be angry with us. Yeah, the wings of Zion. He goes, they might be rude to us, but we're gonna show up and give this speech anyway. And I respect that. And I think the people in Gaza do. I think the people in Gaza respect it actually. I think the people in Gaza respect, now they may have their differences with him. They're intense and rats are eating them and they've been starved and their family members have been vaporized in front of their eyes. They have their differences for sure. We're not gonna gloss over that. But I think they respect it. He came to New York City and he braved the elements. And by the elements, I mean the protestors, Hannah Einbinder, Susan Sarandon, these people there, he said he stared them down. He stared them down. And I think the people in Gaza respect that. I think they have to say, you know, we've had our differences with this man. He burned my mother alive. But that being said, he showed up.

He was not intimidated. He showed up and he gave a speech. Now, let's listen to a little bit of this speech because there's so much negativity about this man.

And I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. Let's listen to what he's saying. So this is long term friend of the show, friend of the Kushners. You remember Benjamin Netanyahu used to visit the Kushner house, kick Jared to the basement and stay in Jared's room. Then Jared married the daughter of the now sitting president. Jared is running around the world making deals, not in an official government capacity, but he's just the negotiator. He's the Ray Donovan fixer type, if you will, running around the Middle East and he just bought an island with a nice outfitted subterranean underground nuclear blast area with his lovely wife, the daughter of our current president, Donald Trump.

So it's a weird wacky family with lots of branches. Here is Benjamin Netanyahu talking at the United Nations General Assembly.

SPEAKER_3 (6:10)

Okay, we're going to take you straight to the United Nations General Assembly in New York because the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is just too good to be the stage.
