Are you going shooting this afternoon?

Ian Wright (0:10)

No, it's just this is...

Gary Neville (0:11)

He's going shooting.

Jamie Carragher (0:12)

Yeah.

Gary Neville (0:14)

He's going...

Ian Wright (0:16)

Thank you, my love. Gary does, yeah, but Gary's just, that's what you do, it's bullying, really.

Gary Neville (0:21)

That man wants pheasant. Yes, Jack.

Ian Wright (0:26)

My guy.

Gary Neville (0:28)

You're something.

Ian Wright (0:28)

The greatest.

Gary Neville (0:30)

Jack.

Ian Wright (0:31)

Jay Wilshere.

SPEAKER_4 (0:32)

I thought...

Jack Wilshere (0:33)

Hello, Gary.

Jamie Carragher (0:34)

Hello, Gary.

Jack Wilshere (0:36)

How are you, mate? Hello, Gary.

Gary Neville (0:37)

I'm great for seeing you. I miss working with you.

Jamie Carragher (0:40)

Do you? When did you work on it for?

Gary Neville (0:42)

Worked with him for a few years.

Jack Wilshere (0:43)

Right, that's it.

Gary Neville (0:44)

Was it England? That one there, with England, eh?

Jack Wilshere (0:47)

This is weird.

Jamie Carragher (0:47)

How'd that go?

Gary Neville (0:48)

And I'm not just saying...

Jack Wilshere (0:48)

No, no.

Ian Wright (0:48)

Do you watch it? I'm not just saying this. Do you watch it, Jack? Yeah.

Gary Neville (0:52)

I'm not just saying this right. We got on well, didn't we?

Jack Wilshere (0:53)

We did, yeah.

Gary Neville (0:55)

We got on well.

Ian Wright (0:55)

What did you like about him, Jack? He was just like... Because he's honest.

He was...

Jack Wilshere (0:59)

At that point, and listen, I love Roy and the way he was.

Roy Keane (1:02)

Cheers. Thanks. Oh, Roy Hudson.

Jack Wilshere (1:05)

I love Roy Hudson. I love Roy Hudson. And Gary was...

He was modern. He was detailed. We changed. Do you remember what we did? We went from like Gerard left, Lampard left, and we went to Four Diamond too. And I was playing at the base.

Gary Neville (1:19)

The base of the diamond, yeah.

Jack Wilshere (1:20)

I was like, it. I've never played there before.

Do you remember going through clips with Pirlo? Yeah, I went through a clip with Pirlo. So we did, we got on well.

Gary Neville (1:29)

And you used to... Because your range of passing was quite short.

Jack Wilshere (1:33)

I enjoyed playing there.

Gary Neville (1:34)

And then you just played a little bit, opened it up a little bit, and it was good.

Jamie Carragher (1:37)

Was that down to you?

Gary Neville (1:39)

No, it wasn't down to me, but it was down to him.

Jack Wilshere (1:40)

Whose idea was that to put me there? I think it would have been you, because Roy wouldn't have...

Gary Neville (1:46)

To be fair, Roy was, I think, open to changing, and to be fair, I think we just said that it was what we had really, wasn't it? If you think about it, we had Jordan and...

Jack Wilshere (1:52)

You had Ronnell on the side, didn't you?

Gary Neville (1:54)

Yeah, and we had like sort of...

Jack Wilshere (1:56)

I enjoyed that, we went to Switzerland, do you remember?

Gary Neville (1:58)

That was a good performance. Yeah. Very good. That was the first time we played it.

We had to win that game.

Jack Wilshere (2:04)

Yeah, Stevie had gone, Lamps had gone.

Gary Neville (2:07)

Were you one of the ones that jumped in that river at night?

Jack Wilshere (2:09)

What are you talking about?

Ian Wright (2:10)

We were drinking. He's jumping a river.

Gary Neville (2:12)

Right, so no word of a lie, right, we're winning Switzerland.

Jack Wilshere (2:16)

No, this is mad, and this is the true story.

Roy Keane (2:17)

It must have been a lake, surely. Was it a lake in Switzerland?

Gary Neville (2:20)

No, no, Roy, I'm telling you, right, we were playing in Basel. Is it Basel?

There's a river in Basel where every other Swiss jump on and they go down the river. Off the bridge, they jump off the bridge and they go down the river, right? We let them have a drink after the game because we have to stay, you can not have to fly back.

Swiss sort of traffic control closed at 10 o'clock, so we had to stay over, and we let the lads have a drink because it was a big win. To be fair, man. But it's not professional, is it?

Ian Wright (2:46)

So anyway, we let them have a drink.

Jamie Carragher (2:47)

It always ends up in Tearsden with that drink.

Ian Wright (2:49)
