You know, I really, I don't get it. I do not get the controversy here, ladies and gentlemen, over the renaming of Lake Ontario. Hello everybody, welcome to the show. Great to have you with us today. And they don't get the president's sense of humor. They don't get the president's wit, or the fact that he is trolling the Canadians in this trade war. What is it the president, the president called them nasty people, is what he called them, nasty people. So anyway, we're going to get to that. Any of you folks have a problem with the renaming of Lake Ontario to Lake America, because the mainstream media and the Democrats are enraged over all of this. Kathy Hochul, by the way, from New York, the governor of New York, says she is not going to abide by the president's executive order, and that Lake Ontario will remain Lake Ontario, which is, it's unfortunate because she doesn't have a sense of humor. I mean, what are you going to do? You know, it's just, it's crazy stuff. You know, I remember when Trump renamed the Gulf of America, and aren't you glad he did that? You know, a lot of people don't remember what was the Gulf of Mahico, but it was, and President Trump came in. I think this is one of the first things he did, issuing the executive order, renaming the Gulf of America. I think it's just about on every map now in the world. If you are going down to what we Southerners affectionately call the Redneck Riviera, then you're going to be vacationing at the Gulf of America. And that's just the way it's been, that's the way I think it's always going to be. But man, they've lost their ever-loving minds over this situation, involving the renaming of Lake Ontario, including the Canadians.
So, just a thought here, and I don't want to spend a lot of time, I don't want to dwell a lot on this, but there is a double standard at play here. By the way, the president calls the Canadians nasty people, and accused him of ripping us off for a long time on trade. Says it's very sad.
And of course, Hokel and others attacking the president here, CNN going bonkers.
I don't seem to recall the mainstream media going bonkers when President Obama renamed Mount McKinley back in 2015 Any of you folks remember that? Any of you folks remember when he did that? Mount McKinley named after a fallen president, and he renamed it Denali.
Any of you folks remember those days? Or what about Joe Biden? What about Joe Biden? You know what Joe Biden did? Joe Biden renamed a bunch of military bases, Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, renamed Clingmans Dome. Any of you folks remember that? Yeah, that actually happened. No media outrage at all. None whatsoever. So, look, there's a word for this, and it's called hypocrisy. And that's exactly what the Democrats are guilty of here. So, look, have fun with it, Mr. President. I know it's triggering to the left, but the reality is that if you don't like what the president is doing, you're more than happy to leave the country. I think Rosie O'Donnell did that.
