White House Correspondent Dinner Rescheduled

Okay, we've rescheduled the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Hammer, for July 24th. I believe it's at the Waldorf, a place where Donald, I think Donald Trump built this hotel, but Donald Trump is going to speak at the rescheduled White House Correspondents' Dinner, July 24th. Of course, we all know what happened at the original White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Yeah, there's a lot of bad stuff. You had a lunatic that wanted to mow down the succession line of America. And you also had some secret service agents that were playing wordle or something while this lunatic ran through the turnstile.

Yeah, might want to be paying attention. Put the phone down.

But you knew Trump. Trump was all about this because he has got some stuff to say. He's got some zingers. He's got some one liners.
He's going to go off on the press corps. And he wanted to get that White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington and would have done anything to do so. Maybe, you know, he wanted to do it in the ballroom that he's building or wants to build. But that would take too long.

I should care more about this because for whatever reason, it's a huge deal in DC.
But I just don't. Even with Trump being there, I don't care that he's going to roast Caitlin Collins or he's got, you know, one-liners to throw out there to the staff of 60 Minutes or whatever. I don't care. I can't stand these people. I hate the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

But that's why he wants to do it.
He can't stand them either. Did you hear the audio that they played at the bottom of the hour of Donald Trump in that live press conference talking to Caitlin Collins at the press conference? This very unhappy woman, very angry, could look at her eyes, look at her. She's a beautiful woman, but she's got anger in those eyes.

Yeah, I mean, it's going to be funny, but the way these butt sniffers in DC view this, they think this is almost as big as the inauguration.
I remember when Trump was feuding with some reporter, I can't remember who it was, and Wallace goes on MSNBC, what if Trump doesn't want a free press? What if there's not a Correspondents' Dinner next year? Like that was the first thought that came to this bag's mind. What if there's not a dinner next year? Oh, heaven forbid, you got to buy your own meal one night and not steal the bottles on the table after an assassination attempt.

Well, you know what? He didn't participate in any of these in his... I don't think that he did in his previous term.
So that's why this is also a big deal, is because this is something that he's going to be there and participate in and get up and speak, and then roast and get roasted too.

Sure.

I kind of want to hear that.

Like I want to see his reaction when the people he hates roasts him back. Now, Trump's been part of a roast before, like before he became the president.

Yeah, he's done that kind of stuff before and he gets it. You got to smile, you got to roll your eyes, give and take. That's how a roast works.
But now it's a little different. You know, now, you know, these people were a big part of him being indicted. You know, carrying the water for all that bullcrap. So we'll see what happens.

Russian collusion. Hunter's laptop. And these are the people that he wants to get out in front of and roast.

And the old man, the older he gets. And you see it with the language he uses.
Low tolerance for crap.
