And I am actually very excited for our episode today, as the title implies, we are talking about Jonah Hill. And I actually was doing research for this episode and like live texting our group chat. And I was like, Jonah Hill is such an interesting person.
I think what it really comes down to for him is that he resents the fact that he is known, he is most well liked and most hireable when he is the quote unquote funny fat character.
And he resents that. And I think more than anything, wants to be taken seriously as an actor, which he has been. Like he's been nominated for two Oscars. But I think he wants to be known as someone who's not like the funny fat guy. But it's like that's always kind of what he's going to be known as. And I think that has bred so much insecurity for him, which is why his behavior sometimes, it like reads as very insecure, bitter. Just he's a very interesting person. And I'm excited to, you know, get your reaction to some of his quirks.

Yeah. We were talking offline about it, about how fragile of an ego men can have.

And I think that Jonah Hill is such a prime example of that because he's surrounded by so many leading men. Him and Leonardo DiCaprio, for God's sake, or VFFs. Best friends.

Yeah. He's close with a lot of these A-list celebrities. And he too is an A-list celebrity, I would consider him to be.

But he just is not that same star quality that his peers are. And I can imagine how that would kind of do a number on your mental health. Like that would kind of suck. I'm not discounting that.

But I think for him, what I've heard from a lot of people that I've met, interestingly enough, I was at the Parker Palm Springs, which is like a very nice hotel. It's like probably one of the nicest in Palm Springs. And I was talking to one of the valet guys, and he was telling me how rude Jonah Hill was. He said that one time he, Jonah Hill pulled in to his very nice car. I don't know what kind of car it is. And the valet guy was, okay, here's your number. And Jonah Hill says, no one's fucking touching my car but me.
