Christy Noel (1:18)

Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Snark Bait. I'm Christy.

Sophie Ross Brooks (1:22)

I'm Sophie.

SPEAKER_2 (1:23)

And today...

Sophie Ross Brooks (1:24)

Welcome back to the States.

Christy Noel (1:26)

Oh, thank you. Yes. I...

You know what? I don't know if you ever experienced this, but you're also five hours or, excuse me, five hours behind.

Sophie Ross Brooks (1:36)

Yeah. The western part of Europe is not a huge time jump.

Christy Noel (1:41)

Yeah. I guess I always get really jet lagged when I go to Europe, but upon coming back, I always am just so tired I pass out and then I feel like a daisy. So I'm not like jet lagged.

Sophie Ross Brooks (1:55)

Nice.

Christy Noel (1:56)

But I don't know what that's about or like why. I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm used to the times I'm here, but yes, I'm back and better than ever.

And I...

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:04)

Did you have the best time?

Christy Noel (2:06)

Yeah. It was really fun.

And it was so funny because I booked us all the dinner reservations. And I think I used this too when you and I have traveled together and with the girls. Like I used the Dumois app. And before you guys hate on me, it's actually...

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:23)

For recommendations?

Christy Noel (2:25)

Yeah. So she has a whole...

SPEAKER_2 (2:26)

That's so funny.

Christy Noel (2:27)

She has a whole curated list by neighborhood of where celebrities are spotted. And it's actually like really good, like, oh, I want to go to Shoreditch in London and she'll have a list of all the restaurants, the type of food and all the celebrities that have been spotted there.

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:39)

That's so funny.

Christy Noel (2:40)

She'll have like curated lists by city. So there's one for New York, LA, London. So I just went to like a couple, I like selected a couple of restaurants where there were the most celebrities found because I was like, naturally that makes sense.

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:52)

Yeah.

Christy Noel (2:53)

And every single restaurant we went to, I'm not joking, Sophie was on the same street in SoHo. Like, she's like, and she's like, where are we going today?

And I'm like, SoHo. And I don't know, it's just like.

Sophie Ross Brooks (3:07)

And you didn't see any celebrities?

Christy Noel (3:09)

No, because they were all at New York Fashion Week in the US Open.

Sophie Ross Brooks (3:11)

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, makes sense.

Christy Noel (3:12)

So it was such a fruitless endeavor, but we were just cracking up the entire time because we're like, we're never leaving this neighborhood. We weren't even staying in SoHo and she was like, you might as well have just stayed in SoHo because we've been here every damn night.

Sophie Ross Brooks (3:26)

Well, it's so funny because you mentioned Dishoom on DT and so many people were like, oh my God, Dishoom is the best. And now I'm like, I need to go to London now and eat at Dishoom and all of the good London restaurants.

Christy Noel (3:40)

Yeah, we used, like I said, the dining app. So we didn't actually set like step foot in it, but it was, did I just glitch out? I don't know, you guys, maybe I am more jet lagged.

But yeah, Dishoom is delicious. When people don't like Indian food, I'm like, grow up.

Sophie Ross Brooks (3:58)

Well, while you were eating the best food in London, I made a mistake yesterday and I got a donut from the subway station.

I was starving. I was just, it was just one of those moments where I was really hungry. And it's Fulton, it's Fulton Street stations. They have like a bunch of, they have like a crispy cream, they have a bunch of different like, they look Shake Shack. I was like, I'm just going to grab like a crispy cream. I love a jelly donut hot take. I feel like jelly donuts are very polarizing. I love jelly donuts.
