Felix Sama (0:05)

This is going to be an iconic night. We are here at the Hard Rock Hollywood. It's the Ultimate Dance & Freestyle Experience. The lineup is sick. Jodie Watley, the Sexy Nine Boys, Triniere, Exposé, Voice in Fashion, Janice Robinson. I mean, the list goes on. 14 of the best acts, Tony Moran, No Mercy, Sapphire, Noel. And it all goes down in a matter of hours. DJ Sama checking in. I'm waiting on you. 305-954-561. Let's get it, man. Tonight, we celebrate the best of the 80s and 90s on stage right here at the Hard Rock. Let's go. All right. Well, this is like a sound check time right now.

We've got the turntable masters up over there. DJ Eazy Duds is going to be rocking it along with DJ Slice. Now, this timer right here, I guess this counts down and tells you exactly how much more time you have left on the stage. I have a feeling people are going to go over. They're going to be like, man, I ain't paying no attention to that. I got my peoples up there and they want to rock with me. So let's just let it ride. Let it ride. Let it ride.

And they got a nice layout. You know, everybody's excited about this concert. We've been promoting it like crazy.

Cafe 27, Cuba Cabana, I know Power 96 We're giving away tickets. A couple of radio stations actually participated in the ticket giveaway for these last two or three months. So, you know, the anticipation has been building and tonight we're going to set it off at the Hard Rock Hollywood. It is the Ultimate Dance & Freestyle Experience. I can't wait to get on the stage. We are behind the scenes. The Ultimate Dance & Freestyle Experience at the Hard Rock Hollywood. I got my queen with me. I'm feeling good right now. Janice Robinson, what a dreamer girl is in the house.

Janice Robinson (2:03)

What? Dreamer is here and it's such an honor to finally like be right next to you.

Felix Sama (2:08)

Oh, wow.

Janice Robinson (2:09)

We go way, way, way, way back. The journey of you playing music to me singing music, it feels so good. When we all gather together, the vibe is so beautiful.

Felix Sama (2:18)

Yes. First and foremost, how was your trip? Everything good?

Janice Robinson (2:20)

Everything is good. I just got back from New Jersey. Before that, I was in Italy and I'm home for a few days. And so it feels good to be kind of close to home and perform tonight. But I leave again like in like eight days.

Felix Sama (2:35)

So you're working a lot to finish out 2026, huh?

Janice Robinson (2:38)

Yeah, I'm all the way up until December.

I'm doing my One Woman Tour in Australia. I'm starting there. Yeah, I love to hear that.

Felix Sama (2:48)

I think you're just catching your stride now.

Janice Robinson (2:50)

Yeah. You know what? I think Dreamer is really a song that holds my testimony because you can close your eyes and you can dream right where you belong. It's the power of manifestation, understanding your purpose. And I am in a very purpose driven life right now. And so I'm just honored to still be standing in front of people so I can keep people encouraged to believe in themselves and follow their passion and dreams. Because that's really all I do.

Felix Sama (3:21)

Yeah. And you know, in your social media, you see the energy, you see the passion, you see the soul of what you love to do. And it's incredible. People really gravitate to you because of the real person you are. You're not trying to fake the funk.

Janice Robinson (3:35)

I love authenticity for me is really, it's the power, it's the secret. If you can authentically be yourself and just really live in your truth and connect with people, it's a good feeling.

Felix Sama (3:52)

How's the documentary coming along?

Janice Robinson (3:53)

It's coming along, it's coming along. You know, when you're independently filming a documentary, you got to get more grants.

Felix Sama (4:01)

I'm trying to get a reality show off the ground. I know I'm getting a reality, not trying. I'm getting a reality show off the ground. But yes, a lot of hard work.

Janice Robinson (4:08)

It's a lot of hard work, but God works it out.

Felix Sama (4:11)

That's right. That's right. So I'm excited to see you tonight. We're going to have a lot of fun. We're going to reminisce. We're going to dance. We're going to cry. We're going to laugh. We're going to make it do what it do, baby girl.
