Greetings, beloved. It's very good to be with you today. And it's my belief that the more you listen to these messages, and the more you study them, the greater impact they're going to have inside of your spirit. You know, our whole goal is to make you more familiar with the spiritual dimension than with the material. And it's very easy to be distracted by the things in the physical realm, because we've all been trained by our senses to discern our realities from the physical. You know, we live in this cause and effect dimension. And it's in this dimension where time has its greatest impact on our lives. And this time is a result of our separation, because we don't see the wholeness in our lives. And I've said over and over again, it's because we've developed this personal reality from our senses and from our judging what is right, what is wrong, all of the things that go into creating our personalities. And we've spoken about that in the past. And it's always good to remember when we're experiencing something, how are we hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting? How are our senses involved in us coming to some kind of conclusion about our experience?
For example, when you wake up and you start your day, are you looking through lenses of the past because of those experiences that you've had? Or do you start a brand new day fresh, completely void of the experiences from the past?
Very important to understand that. I practice that on a daily basis. For me, I'm aware when I'm seeing things or experiencing things from a filter of the past.
And I'm going to say this over and over again in this session.
Right now, this instant is the best it will ever be.
Nothing will be greater than what you're experiencing right now. This instant, this is eternity. This is the kingdom of God, because that is where eternity is. Look at this verse from Thomas.
His disciples said to him, when will the kingdom come?
It will not come by waiting on it.
Now, this is important to understand. It will not come by waiting on it.
The kingdom of the Father is spread out on the earth, and men do not see it.
If you're waiting on something to change you, something outside of the present moment, you're not living in eternity. You're not living in the kingdom of God. Most of our lives are spent trying to operate in this dimension of time. We've said it many times. Time is this construct. It forms the prison that the physical material realm lives in. I use the term prison because you can't escape it materially. Spiritually, we don't live in time. But physically, in this dimension, we are bound by the construct of time. If you want something out there, you have to take your body through space to that place, and it takes time. That's how time is measured. That's how this whole realm functions. That's why science uses the dimensions of time and space in this realm to calculate distances, to calculate money, to calculate energy. All of that stuff, they use through time and with the calculations of time. If you know how long it takes for something to fall to the ground because of gravity, then you can calculate the distance, and you can calculate how long it takes for it to happen. And that's why people live in this realm of security, because they can understand what's going to happen because they understand the mathematics of the construct of time. When Jesus is talking about the kingdom of God, he's talking about people that trust something outside of time, that their security is not in time. Their security is in the realm of the timeless. And we're going to talk about that today. I think it's very important for us to really become more and more familiar with that realm outside of our control, outside of this safety and security, because we're always trying to control something. We're always trying to predict something, because this is how we feel safe. This is how we feel secure. So if we define life as self-survival, then we believe that death is stronger than life.
Think about that. Most people live in this dimension, in this physical body, with the belief that this is living. This is life. But yet, they're trying to protect themselves from what? Death.
So here is some scriptures that Jesus uses to turn that mentality upside down. Look in Matthew 16, 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it. But whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
My sake. For Jesus' sake. So what does that mean? Do you go out and say, I'm dying for Jesus? No. You're conscious of him. If you're conscious of Christ and what he has accomplished in your life, that means your ideas and your thoughts are not on self-survival.
