It is the craziest Frankenstein story you have ever heard, and it's 100% true, and it lands right at the door of these tech bros. We're going to get into that here in a second. Because everything right now that is happening feels, I don't know, out of control, sometimes improvised. You know, yesterday the president was reacting about this AI stuff. A billionaire is posting about it. Tech company is, you know, telling us we're all gonna die and they're shipping stuff that none of us asked for, honestly.

And it has the texture of a thing being made up as it goes, but it isn't made up as it goes.

I'm gonna tell you a story about a librarian in Moscow. This is an incredible story. And almost nobody has heard his name. Nikolai Fedorov. He worked at a museum in the great library of Moscow. And we're talking about the 1880s. He slept in a trunk. He gave most of his salary away. He refused to let anybody photograph him. And he taught and he taught and he taught and he would taught and he would teach anyone who would sit still and listen. And what he taught was that every religion and every philosophy had gotten the assignment wrong.
