US Air Force Withdraws B-1 Bombers

My name is Nigel. Jason Hammer right over there. The United States Air Force has withdrawn all 12 B-1 bombers from an airbase in Britain. I saw this headline, I so wanted it to be like, alright, see you guys later. You guys can handle things on your own now. You don't need us. You know what I mean? But apparently this was a part of that. I ran back to attack against the allied air base or something like that. Right.

And then the dudes got out on bail.

Yeah, there were threats. They caught these guys. There's like five of them. There is there is multiple guys that were arrested and because of terroristic threats.

And it just is a precaution because like a drone could come in, literally come in and destroy those things.

And the fact that you're letting five dudes that age range from their 20s to around 25, just basically get back out in the community on bail is so bizarre to me because I had no idea that Ryan Mears had dual citizenship with London. Like, is that something Ryan Mears would totally do?

By the way, sidebar, if you missed it earlier today, the FOP officially endorsed Philip Faust for prosecutor in Marion County. Tony Samuel will have more on that when he joins us later in the week. But yeah, these five British men were released back into the community on bail.

Well, I'm just disappointed that they caught terrorists. They did a good job and then they sort of let them go. I don't know. How do you let it, how do you give bail to a terrorist?

So I don't know.

A long standing, yeah. They put them out on bail. I assume they have them watch closely, but these were serious people, seriously bad people, and they should not have done that.

So President Trump, speaking to a British reporter about these lunatics that were released on bail, just very bizarre to me.

You have to laugh, because if you don't, you will cry. I know that's a washed up old cliché, but if I lived in Britain and I saw that these six, five guys, British men in their 20s from London that had dual citizenship with Iran, and they were actually arrested for terrorism or suspected terrorism or plotting terrorism.

And then the United States, you know, the only thing protecting you is us, right? The B-1 bombers fly out of there. All right, get the B-1 bombers out of there.

And there are other bases around the region that would take them. But at this point, they've flown back home.

So, oh, yeah, we'll see what happens. But look, I live in Marion County. This doesn't feel all that different compared to the crap that I see happen here all the time.

You have a decent prosecutor in your county, Nigel. I get stuck with Ryan Mears in his Hug of Thug program. So there's really not a lot of difference between bailing out terrorists or slapping an ankle monitor on a serious violent repeat offender back in the community here in Indianapolis. And oh, by the way, you know who's watching these monitors? The narrator, nobody, nobody. They're so overwhelmed with numbers. Nobody is watching these people with the ankle monitors on. And the proof of that is the story we had about a year ago of the Marion County offender that went missing and nobody could find him. And he was dead in a tanning booth in a Planet Fitness for two days.

They couldn't track an ankle monitor on a dead guy for two days. You think somebody actually on the move is being monitored? Not a chance.

Speaking of President Trump, he was in Ohio over the weekend. And this is how tribal we are in our media. Depending on which source you read, it was either a snooze fest or John Gruden went up there and fired people up. And Donald Trump went up there and had his classic Trumpism moment.
