**SPEAKER_1** (0:57)
Oh, we might be ghosts.

**Roger McCorney** (1:00)
I'm Roger McCorney and today I'm joined by the amazing Lucy James from Looking For Game, not Looking For Dot Game.

**Lucy James** (1:08)
Either works.

**Roger McCorney** (1:09)
Oh, either works.

**Lucy James** (1:09)
Either works, but I don't mind. Thank you, Roger.

**Roger McCorney** (1:11)
How are you doing today?

**Lucy James** (1:12)
I'm doing well, thanks. How are you?

**Roger McCorney** (1:14)
Good. You beat us to the office. You beat everybody. You had a little meeting. It was kind of a little surprise. It was fun.

**Lucy James** (1:19)
I did. I genuinely, when I started the call, I was interviewing some developers for Friday's issue and I was like, just so you know, I'm in the Kinda Funny office. They don't know that I'm here and all the lights are off and I really think I will scare someone.

**Roger McCorney** (1:33)
Yeah.

**Lucy James** (1:34)
I didn't. You were.

**Roger McCorney** (1:36)
No.
I was kind of happy. I was like, oh, okay, cool. She's here. She's ready. She got everything. She's going. Tell me about Looking For Game. Tell me what's going on. What is happening in the world over there?

**Lucy James** (1:46)
Well, it's in a weekly newsletter. We get more than once a week. Well, you get like indie game recommendations that I kind of curate, send out, send out the demo so you can give it a try.

**Roger McCorney** (1:57)
Yeah.

**Lucy James** (1:57)
It has been so busy. Yeah. There are so many games. Discoverability is obviously such a huge problem. And so there has been so many fantastic things to wade through. I am very excited for this week because it could be something in the Kinetic Games.
Oh, I can't stop and I say that with like, I'm trying not to hint at what it is. Honestly, you probably wouldn't even guess. I think it's something really special and I had such a good chat with developers this morning. So that's coming out on Friday. I've also got a review of something coming out on Thursday, like a short review type thing. Because I also have like different pieces of content that go out. So things like You Gotta Play, which is sort of my mini review thing for games that are already out. And I'm trialing something new next week. So please be excited. But no, it's going great. It's so busy. The emails.
The thing about emails is once you reply, people reply back.

**Roger McCorney** (2:53)
That's tough.

**Lucy James** (2:53)
And never stop.

**Roger McCorney** (2:54)
That's tough.

**Lucy James** (2:55)
But I-

**Roger McCorney** (2:55)
It's like getting friends and everything. It's like, ugh, now you have to talk to them and everything. It's like you want it, but you don't want it. You know what I mean?

**Lucy James** (3:00)
No, but also it's great. And like the community and the Discord is wonderful. So if you are a paid subscriber, you can get in there and they're all just like sharing game recommendations, having a good time, set up some VC channels. I am such a boomer with Discord. I have no idea how it works, man. What the hell's a boost?

**Roger McCorney** (3:15)
All the-

**Lucy James** (3:16)
You gotta get people to boost it.

**Roger McCorney** (3:18)
You gotta get people to boost it. You gotta get the 4K. You gotta get people to boost it. They gotta pay money.

**Kevin** (3:23)
No, they gotta use their Discord.

**Roger McCorney** (3:24)
They gotta get their Discord Nitro and then they gotta boost it. So then you can, I guess, have more emotes. I think that's how that works. I think you can boost it yourself, though.
You don't want to, you don't need to.

**Lucy James** (3:34)
I've already been doing that.
