College football is back, so Hilton called on me, the superstition concierge, to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Want to make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Oh, that smells lucky.
Hilton's unmatched hospitality can keep up with any superstition. Even a marching band wake up call at 555 and 55 seconds. Hit it. When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for the stay.

Universal Music Group is collaborating with ElevenLabs on a new AI-powered creation platform. More on that in moments, but first. Google seems to have removed the Pixel Tablet from its store and has even taken out the tablet option from its menu at the top of its homepage. The device's removal from the Google Store was first noticed by JetStream, which also reported a few days ago that the device was already marked out of stock. Now that Google has removed the product itself from its store, the device may have already been discontinued, as the publication notes. We asked Google for confirmation whether truly has phased out the tablet and will update this post when we hear back. Google has yet to remove the listings for Pixel Tablet accessories. However, most of them, such as the Pixel Tablet case and charging speaker dock, are no longer in stock. You can only get notified for when they become available again if Google does restock them. At the moment, only the Wasserstein Pixel Tablet Speaker Stand is available for purchase. Google announced the Pixel Tablet at IO. 2023 The company sold it for $499 at launch with a charging speaker base, and the Twofer offering made that price point more attractive. It's no longer for sale on Amazon as well, and its Best Buy listing says the item is no longer available in new condition.
Snapchat is getting a very old-school social media feature, Event Planning. Called Snapchat Plans, the app is trying to foster IRL gatherings of its users with new tools to organize meetups of up to 200 people directly in the app. According to Snap, more than a third of its core users are already using the app's group chats to plan get-togethers. Plans creates a dedicated space for organizing events and tracking invites. Users can access the feature from the My Plans section of their profile. When a new event is created, Snapchat will deliver invites via DMs and chat, and people can RSVP with the typical going, can't go, or maybe. There are also a few Snapchat-specific elements, like Bitmoji-themed cover art. According to Snap, all events are private and only visible to their creator and invitees, though anyone invited can view the guest list. Strangely, the feature doesn't appear to include the ability to add location details, even though the app has a widely used map feature. Universal Music Group and ElevenLabs have announced a new multi-year licensing agreement and wider strategic collaboration that will see them launch a new AI-powered licensed music platform. The deal with UMG is the first that ElevenLabs has cut with a major label, and the new platform will be distinct from its ElevenMusic AI music generation software. The two companies also intend to collaborate on new AI audio products that can be used by artists, UMG wrote in a press release. The AI creation software, which seemingly doesn't yet have a name, is still in development and no release date is mentioned. It will primarily be aimed at music fans who want to make remixes and mashups of music from participating and quote, fairly compensated unquote artists that are signed to the label. ElevenLabs tools will also be able to create new track interpretations and personalized vocal experiences. The music industry has had a complicated relationship with the emergence of AI. Just a few months ago, a coalition of major labels that included UMG issued a collective appeal for AI slop tracks to be banned from charts worldwide. While various legal battles between labels and AI companies like Suno and Udio over accusations of copyright infringement have been well documented in the last few years. A number of these lawsuits, though, such as the one filed by Warner against Udio in 2024, have ultimately ended in settlements and licensing deals being struck. And just this week, Suno said that the launch of its new V6 AI music models marked the formal beginning of its relationships with labels like Warner and BMG.
