All right, let's get into it. Clarity is dead. We didn't even get to 50 votes. I saw a lot of people in different channels on the timeline, gnashing teeth being like, we spent, I don't know, like people were like, we spent $100 million on this shit, and they didn't even get to 50 votes.

So yeah, I mean, it's funny, right? Because I think like, this is such a crypto-esque thing, right? Like three days ago, pretty much everyone would have said to you, there's no chance that this thing, it's dead, like it's over, whatever. Like there's a few people that I knew that like were a little like more connected that seemed to like be kind of hinting like, oh, there's a chance or whatever. But most people were like, no, there's no chance it's dead, right? And then we had this like whiff of hope, opium that just got like injected in the room. And everyone's like, it might be fine. And no, it wasn't fine. So yeah, what's your take on this, Tommy?

Tommy Shaughnessy (3:37)

I mean, I think it's insane. I mean, we're wheeling in like 80-year-old senators to vote on something they don't understand with absolutely no context of how this affects the future. So I think it's just ridiculously dumb that we trust these people to determine our future. So I think we should vote out whoever voted against it. I mean, that's just like step one. Step two, I mean, it looks like based on the SEC and the CFTC comments that they're about to unleash as much enablement as they possibly can. I don't know what that means or what they do.

Not a lawyer, but it seems like they're just gonna go nuts and making sure that crypto doesn't go away.

Kain Warwick (4:15)

Well, you know, it's interesting, right? Because like you have the things that we don't like, right? Like the SEC when they're making bad rules. And now we're like, well, at least the SEC is allowed to make any arbitrary nonsense that they want. So we're kind of saved by that. And it's like, man, like, be careful what you wish for. Like, I'm here for the SEC making crazy pro crypto rules. We need to balance the ledger a little bit, clearly.
