If you walk into a room and can't remember why, it could be nothing or something more.
If you confuse a familiar recipe, it could be a slip-up, or it could be associated with amyloid plaque buildup in the brain. Amyloid is a protein that your body produces naturally, but a buildup in the brain could lead to memory and thinking issues. To see what may be behind your memory and thinking issues, talk to your doctor about getting a full assessment. It's never too early to start the conversation. Visit amyloid.com to learn more.

Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on SiriusXM channel 111 every weekday at noon East.
Hey, everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show. There's a lot to get to today. Karmelo Anthony's parents in a new interview calling his murder conviction a setup. His grandmother outside of the courthouse calling the jury racist and biased, and his legal team filing a notice of appeal. Good luck. We're gonna get to all of it in our second hour, but we begin today with the attempted beheading in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and the aftershocks still underway. After news spread of the heinous attack, Tommy Robinson, posted on X-Quote, politicians and legacy media have clearly learned nothing. Reverse the races, and they'd be falling all over themselves to shout about this. Yet they are purposely downplaying and mis-wording, white people are under attack. Some in the media and political world then demanding that Robinson and Elon Musk, for that matter, be held accountable and jailed, jailed for the protests that broke out. All because people were able to see with their own eyes the video that showed what happened during the attack. You see, but now it's the fault of the people who wanted you to see the video, not the fault of the man who's trying to behead another man in the video.
Showing the video here, a man pinned down, being straddled by another man with a knife, who kept plunging it into him over and over and over. And of course we now know the man on top is a Sudanese immigrant who was granted asylum. We'll get to that in a minute. Witnesses can be heard on the tape saying, he's trying to cut his head off. The victim lost an eye, the other eye was severely damaged. He's reportedly likely going to be blind and is currently fighting for his life. But take a look at this reporting from the Australian News Corporation. Quote, Elon Musk and far-right activist Tommy Robinson have seized upon the alleged stabbing of a man in Belfast. Alleged?
Alleged? Tommy Robinson, by the way, is a larger-than-life figure in the UK. He's got, I think, one Irish parent and one English parent, and has been pushing for change, especially on issues like this, immigration in the UK for quite some time. He's a lightning rod because of it, and he has been unabashed in the wake of this news in calling out the open borders that have endangered citizens of the UK and beyond.
We're also learning more today about the man accused of attempting to behead this victim, the victim named Stephen Ogilvie.
The perpetrator was granted asylum, as I mentioned, after filling out a 10-page questionnaire. The Daily Mail reports his name is 30-year-old Hadid Aladid, Hadi Aladid, a Sudanese national who was given permission to stay in the UK in 2023 after completing the questionnaire rather than undergoing a far more rigorous face-to-face interview process as was typically required prior to Rishi Shunak, the previous prime minister, putting in place fast-track asylum processes to clear the backlog.
I think they'd rather have the backlog, the citizens that you were governing. The questions included, what is the name of the person or group of people or organization that you fear back home? Did these events take place in your country of origin or after you arrived in the UK? These are tough, this is tough stuff. Did this happen in one place in your country of origin or does your fear extend to all parts of the country? Duh! What kind of an idiot wouldn't know how to answer those in order to advance his asylum claim?
