I cannot believe that that is what is happening, but it is absolutely the situation we currently find ourselves in.

We are two sleeps away because the event is taking place this Sunday, as opposed to the Saturdays that we are normally used to.

And we're still doing our preview show on Friday because we haven't done weigh in. So maybe something could happen in the next little bit, but we're going to cross our fingers, hope it doesn't. I assume nothing will. And Saturday, we've got other things going on. There's an RAF on Saturday, so we don't want to overload that. We are doing the preview show. Couple of extra bells and whistles this week. We will be joined later by Boots on the Ground. José Youngs, who is in Washington DC, did a tour of the White House just yesterday.
He will give us a, you know, a live feel of how things are in our nation's capital. And I say are because I am not running solo, not just with you, our wonderful viewers, but man who has been doing these preview shows with me fairly consistently for the past five months at this point. And I couldn't be happier to have him to join me for what may end up being the biggest UFC event of all time, at least in some respects. I'm speaking, of course, the king in the North, Alexander K. Lee, AK.

Oh, I still would have had it on. You just would have seen me, my eyes glaring up at a television set while, so it probably wouldn't have been a good viewing experience. Yeah, man, no, I still can't believe it. When this was announced a year ago, I was like, OK, they'll probably do something to celebrate whatever, you know, freedom 250 They weren't even calling it that at the time. But the 250th Independence Day and Donald Trump's birthday and Flag Day, they'll do something. But like, you know, maybe in the, maybe they'll have events around the White House and then have the actual show and like, you know, a more normal traditional sports venue. I didn't think they were going to, as of like a month ago, I said, this isn't going to happen. I said, ah, they're constructing stuff, but maybe they'll all get moved over to the Ellipse or again, some other actual venue.
Days away, Jed, of reality, on the White House lawn, human beings are going to be locked in a cage and pummeling each other. It still seems surreal even though we're doing non-stop coverage for, this is really the past 12 months, you would think we get used to talking about it by now. But the closer we get, actually feels stranger and stranger and stranger.
But I'm really excited about it. I'm really excited about the whole thing. I think it's a good lineup and that's what matters the most, and I'm ready to learn about America as well.
