UFC Vegas 122 Preview Show | Is It Do-Or-Die For Brendan Allen's Title Hopes In Main Event?

Having uncontrolled eosinophilic esophagitis or EOE can mean you're stuck in many ways, like cutting your food into tiny pieces, or stuck chewing food for a long time. Dupixant dupellumab, a prescription medicine for patients one year and older weighing at least 33 pounds can help with that. It's a breakthrough treatment that can reduce inflammation in the esophagus and improve swallowing.

How about this? Dupixant is not a steroid. It proactively treats EOE so you can get ahead of it.

Severe allergic reactions including skin reactions can occur. Get help right away if you have trouble breathing or wheezing or swelling of your face, mouth, tongue or throat. Tell your doctor of new or worsening joint aches and pain or a parasitic infection or asthma. Don't change or stop other treatments without talking to your doctor.

Go long.

No I'm not throwing a football with my favorite son Charles. I'm talking to my new Duke Cannon Puck of Soap. It's triple mill to last longer than retain its shape down to the last nub. In fantasy football terms, you could say this long-lasting soap takes no bi-weeks. Or that it's bench-proof. Or even that it's a surefire league championship winner. Duke Cannon Pucks of Soap are built for guys who want a hard-working, long-lasting soap. Catch one yourself at dukecannon.com or a Target store near you. Duke Cannon Pucks of Soap, triple mill to last longer.

You're listening to the Vox Media Podcast Network.

Mike Heck (1:35)

All right, Mike Heck here from MMA Fighting. And my good friend Jed Meshew is here with me as well, because Jed, the day has finally arrived. It's App Day, the all-new SB Nation app. It's live now. It's live, Jed.

SPEAKER_5 (1:48)

It's alive.

Jed Meshew (1:49)

Yeah, man, I'm really excited. And it's it's awesome, man. Combat sports, like all sports, but combat sports fans especially.

You guys are going to have your voices heard, like never before with within SB Nation MMA Boxing. Not me, but you pro wrestling, Mike. It's it is a community based app. It's all about community with the new SB Nation app.

Mike Heck (2:09)

It's so easy to use and it can keep obviously combat sports fans connected to their favorite teams and all of sports too across the board. So I can keep up with the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Patriots and the Bruins all on my phone. And it's so simple to use.

Jed Meshew (2:24)

Yeah, like you, you mentioned those teams, but there's so much more. Cause I don't care about Boston Sports, Mike, but I get to follow the NFL, all the other sport, F1, the various sports that I care about outside of combat sports.

And then there's the live experience because that's to me, that's one of the coolest things. You can chat with us during Fight Cards every Saturday and you can chat with other people in the communities as big events are happening. So it's a really good time.

Mike Heck (2:50)

So ladies and gentlemen, come fight with us over on the all new SB Nation app. Download it today. Download it right now. What are you waiting for? Download it.

SPEAKER_5 (3:08)

Mixed Martial Arts Vegas 122 preview show. Allen versus Duncan. Let's go!

That is right, ladies and gentlemen.

Jed Meshew (3:22)

The horns, they're sounding. These are not victory horns. These are celebratory horns. These are the horns heralding the arrival of an event that you have been waiting your whole lives for. That is right. Hark unto me because UFC Vegas 122 is almost upon us. I believe the weigh-in is just wrapped up with Ishmael Bon Fim coming in a doozy seven and a half pounds over the lightweight limit. So whether that fight will happen, we don't know. But what we do know is that tomorrow night in the world's most metaist APEX, Brendan Allen will fight Christian Leroy Duncan for what?

You know what? We'll talk about that. And to join me to talk about that, the man behind the, you noticed that this went off much better? It's because I'm not doing the production. The man behind the boards and the man in front of the camera delivering the spicy takes that I will not as host be giving Mike Heck.

Mike Heck, how you doing buddy?

Mike Heck (4:26)

Doing great. It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood. And we have another card that might break records for finishes, Jed. It just might do it again. Might be the fourth time this year that it happens. So, yeah, main event is getting more interesting by the second it appears. And yeah, let's make the most out of this, buddy.
