I don't know if this came through for everybody out there, but Mike's audio just got nerfed because he was so excited about being back in the Apex for UFC Vegas. One, two, one, going down in 26 hours or so.

Some fights are happening. Hi everybody, I'm Jed Meshew. You know me, I'm not the guy who did the intro. The guy who did the intro, he's the run in mate for this show as we talk about the return to the Apex and the start of a dark time in MMA fandom, if we're going to be very honest about this. The great Mike Heck. Mike, look at you. You got the pullover on. Is it getting a little nippy down there in South Kackalacki?

Oh, it's incredible. It was 70 degrees yesterday. It's like 74 today.

I mean, this is why we moved to South Carolina right here. Like we deal with the two really bad months where it's really hot just to get to September. The next like three months are going to be like in the 70s and low 80s. So let's rock and roll. This is spectacular.

Yeah, two days ago, I woke up and went out for my morning run and was like, Oh, it happened.

It's late in September. It finally happened. Here we are. The next couple of months will be nice. This is whether I'm very, I like the hot. I grew up in the south. I grew up in the low country, so I like the hot. I'm comfortable here.

Past this, I start to get a little grumbly because I want light jacket at most. I'm not trying to be shivering in the cold, but Mike, we are going to be shivering in the cold, dark landscape that is the next few weeks of the UFC. Many of you at home might not like me saying that, but I have eyeballs and I use them. I encourage you all to do the same because we have this week, Vegas 121 Mike, next week, UFC 332, which I will say I actually do like that card. The context is doing a lot of the poorness of that card. If this were just a Salt Lake City Fight Night, I actually think there's a lot going on there that I'm interested in. So if you set aside that it should be bigger than okay, and then we head back to the Apex for another card, but that's in our future, and the future is also for cowards. The past is for cowards. You live in the past, you die in the past, as a famous football coach once said.
