El-Sayed has won Michigan's slugfest of the Democratic Senate Party, according to NBC News, clinching the nomination in a close race over Hailey Stevens, establishing a Midwest beachhead for the progressive left in the march of this midterm cycle. El-Sayed overcame nearly $65 million onslaught of the outside money and establishment that had rallied around Stevens. Popular governor Gretchen Whitmer endorsed Stevens last month, a move seen as a last-ditch effort to help stop a rising El-Sayed. El-Sayed, former public health official, goes on now to face former representative Mike Rogers, who claimed the Republican nomination without opposition yesterday. Okay, let me point out a couple of things.
First of all, do you have the numbers in front of you, Jason, by any chance?

Yeah, it's right now El-Sayed has 48.48% at 740,000-ish. Stevens is at 47.51 at 726,000, so less than 20,000 between the two.

Let's start here. Remember yesterday it was a blowout? Day before it was a blowout? Everybody had him winning at 90%, 99%.
Everybody said it was a cakewalk for him. Turns out, just with what we know today, only 20,000 different. What does that tell you?
