Alex (0:28)

My name is Alex.

Luke (0:29)

It is October 7th as we're recording this. Thank you so much for hanging out with us right now.

Is there a little bit of a delay for everyone on video?

Maybe not. Maybe it's my computer. Maybe things are crashing down right now. And that's OK. It's October. This is my scare when OVS starts freaking out on me. Isn't that fun for the spooky season?

Alex (0:52)

It's the end of the world.

Luke (0:55)

Hope you all are doing well anyway. Hopefully we can get to 50 likes. Hopefully one round of Festival Rocker Flop. We want to say thanks to all the Steve's out there who are joining us live on YouTube right now. We had at least two rounds of Festival Rocker Flop. We updated the list so that way the repeats from last week will not be there. And this week we have a lot of the weird ones that came from two weeks ago. So hopefully we make it through. That's a fair way to say it. Yeah, exactly. Exactly.

Yay. We have to be very cautious on how we say all that. So thank you all so much. Hope you all are doing well. Alex, hopefully you are doing OK. Also, we are on Dogwatch. Alex is a little OK behind you.

Alex (1:41)

He's sleeping.

Luke (1:42)

OK, he's sleeping. That means he's good. That's how I am.

Also, can't scream of their owners.

Alex (1:51)

So. Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. I'm like, oh yeah, your little ears are wiggling. You must imagine me talking to you or something crazy.

Luke (1:57)

I mean, yeah, we're the ones around them 99% of the time, so that's we're the only ones they dream about. So they're so sweet. Yeah. So be good to your pets so they have good dreams about you.

Alex (2:07)

It's so that way.

Luke (2:08)

So that way people don't come and beat you up because they find out you're bad to your pets. Don't worry about the dreams at that point.

Alex (2:13)

Yeah. So don't just don't have pets if you're bad.

Luke (2:16)

I agree. Yeah. Like I am one thing pro like, hey, if you ever get busted for being bad to a pet, you never get to have pets again and you have to have that sign in your front lawn and you have to put it down on all job resumes.

Alex (2:28)

Yeah.

Luke (2:28)

I think that's it.

Alex (2:29)

Straight up. Yeah. No mercy.

Luke (2:31)

Yeah, exactly. We have to set an example for something in the country. So thank you all so much. We'll jump into it. Thank you again to my podcast listeners on the audio feeds. Again, Apple Podcast is doing well for us. So if you're listening on Apple, thank you. Leave a review if you can. That stuff does help out. Apple's big on reviewing and pushing out podcasts that are more reviewed in an endless cycle, that type of thing. So just keep that in mind. Where is entire screen? There we go. Sharing that with my friend here. We start off with the unfortunate news as we try not to do on the Podcast That Rocked, but it keeps on happening.

World of Rock and Metal lost another.

Cronos, from Venom, dead at 63 That's a shock. Because Venom had something come out not too long ago.

Alex (3:25)

Yeah, that sucks.

Luke (3:27)

It does. There was a statement from his family and his son.

It's with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the news that Conrad Cronos Lant has passed away. For more than four decades, Conrad's voice, base, and vision were at the heart of Venom. From the first dark rumblings of Welcome to Hell, through black metal, at war with Satan, possessed and beyond, he created something that changed heavy music forever. Venom never followed the rules. They forged their own path and Conrad was there at the center of it all, uncompromising, fearless, and unmistakable. I want a eulogy like that when I go.

Alex (4:01)

Right? That's a great way to say it.

Luke (4:03)

Man, that's awesome. And that from Cronos' son Nathan added, I want to thank all of the legions of fans for all of the support you have given my dad over the years. I know he really appreciated you all. He has laid down his soul and his music will live on. The legend of Cronos will never die.
