Chris Hammer (0:01)

Okay, ready, three, two, one. What kind of a booze cruise is this?

SPEAKER_2 (0:06)

Where's the hooch? Cruz?

Chris Hammer (0:07)

Cruz.

You got that? They're not booing, they're saying Cruz! How about it, man? Tuesday, Cruz Day on the Hammer and Nigel Show.

SPEAKER_2 (0:22)

Oh, here she is. The Nine to Noon star from the Baker and Cruz show, Johnette Cruz joins us. How are you, love?

Johnette Cruz (0:33)

I'm doing fantastic. How are you guys doing?

SPEAKER_2 (0:35)

Good, good. And magically, we just got an uptick in YouTube viewers.

Johnette Cruz (0:41)

Funny how that works out.

SPEAKER_2 (0:42)

Three pasty white dudes in a room.

Johnette Cruz (0:45)

You speak for yourself.

SPEAKER_2 (0:48)

Two pasty white dudes and one very pasty dude in a room.

Chris Hammer (0:52)

As Jerry refers to me, I'm spicy white.

Johnette Cruz (0:55)

Spicy white. That's a good way to put it.

SPEAKER_2 (0:58)

Johnette's like, child, please. How's the big show going, Johnette?

Johnette Cruz (1:03)

It's doing good.

SPEAKER_2 (1:04)

So you're about, what, a week now into this thing?

Johnette Cruz (1:07)

A week now in.

SPEAKER_2 (1:08)

Feeling more comfortable? Have you got tired of Brian Baker's crap yet?

Johnette Cruz (1:11)

Yeah, not yet. I'm learning a lot about him, which is great. And so I think we're just now getting used to each other and how to just go back and forth on stories and conversations and also how our personalities are. So it's been good.

SPEAKER_2 (1:23)

We announced earlier the big event, the Roast of Nigel coming up on Saturday night, November 21st. So Saturday before Thanksgiving. So we're going to have a blast. Are you ready to bring the heat? Oh, I'm ready. Are you ready to take some heat?

Johnette Cruz (1:37)

Yes.

SPEAKER_2 (1:38)

Because I've seen you on social media and you're blocking people, you're talking trash a little bit. Are you really ready for what's about to come your way from your co-workers?

Johnette Cruz (1:48)

Yes, no, I am.

I have thick skin. It doesn't matter. For me, like on social media, I just don't like negative energy. So if you're going to put negative energy out there, I don't want it. I'll block you. I really don't care. But with friends, I mean, it's all good.

SPEAKER_2 (2:00)

And I've noticed Chris Hammer's seat's been getting closer and closer to yours throughout this interview. So if you need to like spray him with a little squirt bottle, or like you have to do dogs in heat, like a cat on the Christmas tree, or a dog in heat, please do so, Johnette.

Chris Hammer (2:15)

Yeah, the line you're looking for is like, how you doing?

SPEAKER_2 (2:19)

Hey, let's pivot to something serious. Now, we have not talked a lot on this show about the Cornell story. And I know you've got a big opinion on this. Before we get to that, reset what this is all about.

Johnette Cruz (2:34)

OK, so Cornell case, that happened back in 2024 So, you know, you had that's why it's kind of called the Cornell Seven. So this girl basically had a very interesting evening with multiple men.

And then you can say gangbang.

SPEAKER_2 (2:49)

It's OK.

Johnette Cruz (2:50)

OK. She apparently said it was a gangbang. And then this was agreed upon, correct? So apparently at the beginning, it was all good. Everything was fine. And then a couple of weeks later, she decides to file a police report. She starts to change her mind and the story starts to change a little bit. And so that happened in 2024 They did an investigation. They didn't find any criminal wrongdoing. I know some of the some of the men were expelled. They know they have some disciplinary actions when it came to Cornell. And so now here we are two years after the fact with her filing a civil lawsuit against those same seven men.

SPEAKER_2 (3:27)

OK, so tell me if I have anything wrong here. I'm going down my list of things that I believe are true about this story. This was a woman that was hired to do multiple members of a fraternity at a college campus. And this has been documented. Things were agreed upon. There are text messages, there are voicemails.

Everything seemed like it was on the up and up.

But then afterwards, something happened. Whether she didn't get invited back or she was told her services were no longer needed. That's when she decided to file sexual charges.

Johnette Cruz (4:00)

Do I have this right? Yeah, it seemed as though there was a Halloween party. And that's when the first time when like I think she started to get upset because she was initially invited and then they disinvited her. And that's when the communication started to change.
