But I have a big decision to make. Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before? Maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world. Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness or generations?
But I believe we'll make a deal right after the election.

Hey, good afternoon. That was the president. He was at the UN today, addressed the General Assembly. Really strong words for Iran. I'm sitting here, I'm thinking, hard to the deal. Big decision. He's talking about what's, what pretends for the future. We'll see. We'll see what comes out of all of that. We'll talk more about what happened at the UN today as well. It's the biggest story of the day and it will impact not just us, it will impact, of course, the world and the world economy. And we can get into some of that. I'll give you some perspective on it. But today, time is flying. I was saying to my producer, Nick, we had a lot to do today. How quickly the show came upon us, but also just how quickly time is flying. Are you feeling the same thing? Today is the autumnal equinox. It's the first day of autumn.
One of two days of the year when the sun is aligned with the Earth's equator.
The day and night are about the same length in both the southern and northern hemispheres. Days are going to get shorter, though. It's going to be kind of a drag. I like the daylight. I like having a longer day. I don't like getting out of the studio when it's pitch black, you know what I mean? I like a longer day. The other time that that happens, of course, is the vernal equinox. It's the first day of spring. That'll be here before you know it, too. And those of you that are fans of JRR. Tolkien, you also know that today is Bill Bowe and Frodo's birthday. Also known as Hobbit Day, supposedly. But yesterday, another piece of news, I think, was important. And we talked about this. If you missed the conversation, you can go back to the podcast and listen. We've got a pretty full show today, so I won't be diving into it in too much detail. But ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox, they all suspended TV coverage of the president's, you know, all presidential events is really what I should say. That came in response to President Trump barring CNN and MS Now and Politico from the White House over reporting that he characterized as fake news. And I know it's frustrating, you know, for the president. He also said today that, you know, at the UN that there were some national security issues involved. He didn't specify what those were. But the move to stop the coverage came right after CNN and MS Now.
You know, in Politico, they filed a lawsuit against Trump arguing his decision violates the First Amendment. And the three banned outlets are members, of course, of the White House press pool alongside with ABC and NBC and CBS and Fox and others. So last night, the White House launched a 24-7 streaming platform called, can you guess it, Trump TV.
They launched Trump TV, they're going to broadcast real-time updates and highlights of major events. So it's kind of an interesting development. We'll see what happens. There's talk that this lawsuit might go all the way up to the Supreme Court. We'll look at that. But today at the UN, Trump, you know, he's seated that he might have to rescind the ban if a judge rules against him. The president is at the UN today for his general assembly, and he gave a 38-minute speech a little bit earlier today. You know, and it was aimed to the delegates of the world's various countries that were there. Of course, in the line of fire was Iran. And I want to talk a little bit about that with you today, because this is a huge story. Today, really, if you think about it, I mean, all eyes, not just the US., not just the Iran, but the world is focusing on what President Trump is going to say. We've got the war with Iran. You have the Strait of Hormuz, which is disrupted. Oil prices remain elevated. And of course, you've got some other developments, too. Ukraine, that situation is still unresolved. There's instability in Yemen. There's enormous questions about AI, future of the UN itself. And the president says it's no longer relevant.
