Have Kids, They Said…
September 15, 2026
On today's episode, Rich and Nicole break down just how bad Rich's Mets luck really is. And Matt Ryan did not want to share Rich with Nicole during his NYC visit. And is it really just the water in NY that makes the food so special? Rich wants Sara to pester him more when he's away.

I love my phone, but not my carrier, what do I do?
SPEAKER_2 (0:04)
Well, there are 250 reasons to join T-Mobile.
Rich Davis (0:07)
Like what?
SPEAKER_2 (0:07)
You can keep your phone and your number, and T-Mobile helps pay it off, up to $800 per line.
SPEAKER_4 (0:12)
So I wouldn't have to buy a new phone?
SPEAKER_2 (0:14)
Yep, plus your plan price stays the same for five years on experience plans. Nice. Find your reason at tmobile.com.

This is your warning. It's your warning to get the kids out of the room.
Rich Davis (1:08)
Everything is awesome.
Nicole Ryan (1:11)
Except for when your kids are in the room, they can't listen to this.
Rich Davis (1:14)
All right, hey, get them out. You've been warned. Let's go. What's your name?
SPEAKER_8 (1:21)
Who am I?
SPEAKER_5 (1:41)
What's up, friend?
Rich Davis (1:43)
Oh, man, it's nice to see you.
SPEAKER_8 (1:45)
It's nice to see you.
Rich Davis (1:46)
It was even nicer to see you in person.
Nicole Ryan (1:48)
I know, it was lovely to see you in person. We had some fun. How was the game? Because I know you were at the Yankees-Mets game, right?
Rich Davis (1:57)
Yes. Do you know that I'm 0-11 now in my last 11 Mets games?
Nicole Ryan (2:02)
What do you mean? They've lost every time?
Rich Davis (2:04)
11 in a row.
Nicole Ryan (2:05)
I mean, yeah.
Rich Davis (2:06)
Do you understand the odds of that?
Nicole Ryan (2:08)
I mean, I don't know. Yes, it's actually quite the accomplishment, if you think about it.
Rich Davis (2:14)
Nicole, the Mets win roughly 50% of the time. That would be like going to a roulette table, betting on red or black, and it's 11 times in a row, black, black, black, black, black, or red, red, red.
Nicole Ryan (2:26)
Do you understand that? I'm not denying that it's crazy. Do you understand the- Do you understand?
Rich Davis (2:32)
Do you understand the monumenticity?
Nicole Ryan (2:35)
Monumenticity, did you just make up a word? I think you did.
Rich Davis (2:38)
Of how terrible that streak is.
Nicole Ryan (2:40)
It ain't good, nothing good there. But- You know what's so funny?
Rich Davis (2:44)
Oddly enough, can I tell you something, Ned? You take no offense to this.
Nicole Ryan (2:48)
Oh, God.
Rich Davis (2:50)
I feel like I hung out with Matt, and I really feel like I really didn't hang out with you.
Nicole Ryan (2:54)
You didn't, and you guys made that very clear.
Rich Davis (2:57)
No, no, but not by design. I feel like the game was on. We were having- Matt got his pizza. You're like, I'm going to go get Thai food. And I just felt like looking back-
Nicole Ryan (3:08)
Matt made it about him. Matt wanted to be the special guy, the more important guy.
Rich Davis (3:16)
It was just funny because usually when I go see Nicole and Matt, maybe Nicole and I dip away, get a drink just her and I, or we catch up. I feel like even when we walk down the block so that I could play catch, have a catch with Keegan.
Nicole Ryan (3:29)
Just you and Matt.
SPEAKER_8 (3:30)
You just forgot about me.
Rich Davis (3:31)
You're with the dog doing something else and I'm like, you're with me.
Nicole Ryan (3:34)
Here I'm with the dog doing something else. I was walking the dog, Glenn and P. You guys were speed walking.
Rich Davis (3:40)
So it's okay.
SPEAKER_1 (3:40)
It's fine.
Rich Davis (3:42)
I saw you.
Nicole Ryan (3:43)
Like three's, what is it? Two's company, three's a crowd. I was the third wheel on that date that night.
Rich Davis (3:49)
It was nice to see you guys.
Nicole Ryan (3:50)
No, it was nice to see you. It's always nice to see your face. It was so funny, though, when you were recording. So when Rich was here, he used my playroom to record his Fox Sports thing. And he came out twice. Well, he came out a few times, but he comes out of the room once and he tries one of our Jolene coffees, right? And then when he comes out again, he goes, can I get another one of those? And then he goes back in the room and Matt looks at me and he goes, that man doesn't need caffeine. Why are you giving him another one? Now he's had two of those things on top of just, oh my God, it was so funny. It was so funny.
