Nigel (0:03)

You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel Show. My name is Nigel. Jason Hammer is here with a very special guest on the hotline.

Jason Hammer (0:11)

What are you laughing at, Nig?

Nigel (0:13)

I love the Tony Kinnett promotion that you put on the X profile here.

Jason Hammer (0:20)

So last week, we always joked that Tony Kinnett of The Daily Signal and the Tony Kinnett cast, who joins us, looks a little bit like a skinnier doppelganger of JD Vance. But we kind of got off on a sidebar last week where we said, nobody's ever made a funny parody video of Tony Kinnett as fat JD Vance with like the curly hair, like running and doing different types of shenanigans. So I made one. So if you want to see that, go to our Twitter account at Hammer and Nigel.

You will see the tonus morphed into fat JD Vance running away from Antifa.

Nigel (1:01)

Have you watched it yet, Tony?

Tony Kinnett (1:03)

Oh, several times. It haunts my dreams at this point.

Nigel (1:07)

It's beautiful.

Tony Kinnett (1:08)

Running away from the Antifa protester. Good nod back to Chicago there, Hammer. Very tastefully done. I am. I might get a perm. It may be a business in the front party in the back kind of season.

Jason Hammer (1:19)

The attention is in the details, Tony, because you can clearly read your lips. Oh, no, Antifa. And then you turn around and run away.

Tony Kinnett (1:28)

That's right. Like Forrest Gump at a buffet. It's it's exciting.

Jason Hammer (1:32)

Let's get into it here.

Lame duck Thomas Massie, still wanting his moment in the spotlight, said, you know what? I would like to move forward with trying to impeach Pete Hegseth, Pete Hegseth. Now, this went about as far as the the Colts efforts on Sunday, but Thomas Massie wanting to impeach Pete Hegseth. What do you think?

Tony Kinnett (1:58)

I think it's hilarious. So again, I really liked about Al Green, you know, the the the black representative from Dallas, who dastardly deeds are done, would like shake his cane, you know, do a little dance every couple of weeks and shout, we need to impeach anyone, everyone. I mean, he'd like try to impeach my dog. This man's just unstable every week. So then he gets up in front of the house and he like runs to the podium. He adjusts his notes for like two and a half minutes. It's like Maisie Hirono trying to learn how to read. It's a struggle to watch.

And then he starts saying, these are the high crimes and misdemeanors for Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of Defense. Number one, he went to war with Iran single-handedly, like Rambo, but on signal. I mean, that's what I'm told. Then he's like, and then he blew up all of these fishermen. I mean, all of them, like you just start like Gordon's fishermen, that one got Franklin, the bear's dad, all of these fishermen. Just blew him up in the Caribbean. It was terrible. It was evil. And people in the house are laughing at him. And you can see on C-SPAN, if you're a sad soul who watches C-SPAN, you can see the man start to sweat like he's embarrassed. He didn't do enough research. He's giving this book presentation in middle school on the fly.

Jason Hammer (3:06)

Well, Tony, isn't it bad enough they dubbed them fishermen and survivors? That's the equivalent of Maryland manned, is it not?

Tony Kinnett (3:15)

Yeah, again, look, if you're gonna hit them on the Iran war thing, okay. I mean, do I think there's any merit there? No, but there's a lot more merit to that than saying, all these innocent fishermen. And I brought up, I said, look, my dad, good old boy, Mike Kinnett from Henry County, the man loves to fish, maybe more than he loves me, but he loves to fish. And I mean, he's been to every lake in the state. He knows Dale Hollow down in Tennessee by heart. There is no way. And he called me after some of these strike footages started getting released. And he was laughing because they had glued, and I mean, redneck in the summertime, hot glued, like eight outboard motors. We're talking a Menard Super Sale here, on the backs of these cigarette boats. And they weren't going fishing unless you're trying to hit 9,500 miles an hour on the top of the waves with no fishing rods.

Nigel (4:00)

They were drug running, right?

Tony Kinnett (4:02)

Yeah. And not only drug running, they were going to these Ecuadorian floating pontoon gas stations. Now, again, guys in the Midwest, we've seen about everything on earth try to float on our lakes and ponds. Amen.
