welcome to The Neighbors Don't Need to Know. They might not need to know, but you totally do. So let's meet the family members and find out this week's topic. I'm Lindsy, the mom, sister, our teachic, riddled with anxiety and self-doubt.

Jordan (0:59)

And I'm Jordan, your resident dad, brother, uncle, bodybuilder, not volleyball husband, podcast addict, drug and alcohol addict, but I don't do those things anymore. I just listen to the podcast.

Lindsy (1:15)

Your intro is right up there with the one Riley used to have.

Jordan (1:22)

Yeah, it's ever changing, ever evolving. That's why we had to get rid of everybody else's so that I just had more time for my intro. Yeah.

Lindsy (1:33)

Yeah. So this week, once again, it's just the two of us because two of us, we are doing part two of our Crime Junkie review.

Jordan (1:46)

Our Crime Junkie Fest. Trying to think of something all I could think of was hunky and it wouldn't apply either of them.

Lindsy (1:56)

Our funky, Crime Junkie, Chunky Party. There you go.

Jordan (2:03)

Our hunky, chunky, Crime Junkie. Is that a monkey? It's pretty funky.

Lindsy (2:17)

Now we're getting clunky.

Jordan (2:18)

Oh, no. Well, now that we've mom and dad on that.

Lindsy (2:25)

How have you been this week, Jordan?

Jordan (2:27)

I've been good. A little out of it. I think, I don't know, just that time of year where I want to do more than what the weather allows me to do. So it just kind of wears on me a little bit.

Lindsy (2:41)

Well, it's snowed and that's not supposed to happen in April.

Jordan (2:46)

Yeah, but it's Nebraska slash Iowa slash the Midwest. What do you expect?

Lindsy (2:54)

Yeah, I just want it to be nicer outside and it's not, and it just ticks me off every time I go outside.

Jordan (3:01)

I'm right there with you. I have so many things I want to do and it's not helping. How have you been?

Lindsy (3:09)

I've been all right. Doing a lot of stuff with work, doing a lot of stuff with the kids. Nothing really of import has happened in the past week, which is kind of cool because- Yeah, it's kind of nice. Yeah. It's pretty amazing.

Jordan (3:25)

You've reached a point where uneventful and middle of the road is great.

Lindsy (3:30)

Yeah. I have started drumming on rock band.

Jordan (3:35)

Oh.

Lindsy (3:36)

Which is actually very cathartic. And that's the most exciting thing that has happened this week, which is pretty damn exciting.

Jordan (3:47)

That's what I'm talking about. And it's a good little arm workout.

Lindsy (3:51)

Yeah. My my poor knees that have arthritis, they do fight me on it. And then I was really mean to them and went for a walk. We all went for a walk the other day with the dogs. And sometimes when I walk on pavement for a while, then my knees are mad at me for the next day or two. So, I'm taking my tumeric and I will probably go for another walk tomorrow or Saturday just because I want to keep it up.

Jordan (4:23)

It's going to be a good weekend for a walk.

Lindsy (4:26)

That's what I'm seeing.

Jordan (4:27)

That's what the weather lady says with her obnoxious lipstick and her terrible dress style.

Lindsy (4:34)

Well, then...

Jordan (4:35)

They got rid of... The weather down here was frightful.

Lindsy (4:38)

They got rid of the weather?

Jordan (4:39)

But the fire is so delightful. No. On the channel that I like to watch, there was a lady, her name was Liz Whaley. Shout out to Liz Whaley if you're listening somehow. And she was great. Wonderful weather lady. Just crushed it way better than any of the dudes or the other ladies. And they like phased her out. So she's not a part of it anymore. And brought in this, just the two goofiest looking ladies. And I don't know what their deal was. So I looked it up online. And according to people, and supposedly her, and then she deleted it on Twitter, was they, she was a little bit bigger.

And they didn't like that. The news station didn't like that.

Lindsy (5:32)

Well, that's stupid.

Jordan (5:33)

And supposedly the guy told her, the guy in charge told her that they didn't like seeing her big arms on screen. So yeah, she was very, I guess she tweeted out a grumpy text that, or tweet that said what he said and then like deleted it shortly after. But she was the bomb. She was great. I miss her.
