This AI Selloff Is the Biggest Buying Opportunity Yet

Milk Road AI

July 8, 2026

We break down why we're staying bullish despite recent weakness across AI stocks, why Nvidia, Micron, Meta, Google, Amazon, and the broader AI infrastructure trade may still be in the early innings, and where new opportunities are emerging across software, robotics, and the application layer.

People will go, holy, now I see how big of a world changing thing this is. And that's when I think we go in this crazy bull market. It's like, we're in a good bull market right now. I think this is nothing to where we're actually gonna go in a few years.

**Al Jadush** (0:12)
What's up, everybody? It's Al Jadush here, and welcome to Milk Road AI, the daily AI show. They can't decide what to buy or sell because the analysts are making like 20 moves a week right now. Today's July 8th, 2026, recording on the seventh. AI stocks have pulled back hard over the past couple of weeks, and suddenly everyone's asking the same question. Is the trade finally running out of steam? Today on our weekly roll up, featuring three of our analysts, we're digging into which parts of the market are wrong, whether this sell-off is creating some of the best buying opportunities of the year, and whether the next wave of winners are actually in the application layer. We're talking Nvidia, hyperscalers, new clouds, robotics, agentic AI, and of course, what comes next in Q3. Before we jump in, if you want to see exactly what they are doing, buying, selling, and researching, you can get all that via real-time texts and email via Milk Road PRO. It's 33% off this week only. Check it out at the link below. Today's episode is brought to you by BitGit, Stocks 2.0, with real liquidity, real dividends, and Securitize, the regulated rails for tokenization. All right, boys. Good morning. We're back for another little episode. We're going to do a little roundtable of our AI analysts here.
Guys, I want to know, we always start these with what's going on in the market. We're seeing a pretty decent little dip. Some of you guys are buying the dip, but I want to hear from each of you first, how you feel about the market, what you're eyeing, or just give it to me nice and short. Melvin, let's start with you, especially with some of your dear Micron on a little dippy dip.

**Melvin** (1:31)
Yeah. So yeah, market had a bit of a pullback today. I think it's down about half a percent, a little bit less than that.
But the stock's diamond is absolutely getting cooked right now in the last few days. It's been about a week so far because of the meta news and the memory trade has really, really taken a dip as well. But personally, I still remain bullish as ever before, which we will get into later on why. But other than that, I'm really happy with the sell-off. I think market is giving me a great opportunity right now to buy into these dips and I plan on taking full advantage of that. So I bought some things today and I will be buying some more things after this recording is done.

**Al Jadush** (2:13)
Oh, wow. Okay. Vincent, how about you, man?

**Vincent** (2:16)
There are a couple of things going on in the markets, we will cover it later. The top-down view of mine is, token volumes are going up, which is bullish for the AI buildout. The token pricing though is under pressure, which is bearish for the models and the labs.
Because of that, we get cheaper intelligence, which is bullish for the adoption. I think my view at the market and also tells what I'm focused on. Nice.

**Al Jadush** (2:46)
Okay. I'm going to be very keen to know what you guys are eyeing, or at least what you're thinking about buying, especially Melvin. But Kyle, let's go to you, man. Let's hear from you.

**Kyle Reidhead** (2:55)
Yeah. I think we're in a little mid-cycle pullback in the semiconductors, and a lot of the AI bottleneck trade, which I think makes sense. They've gone up a ton.
Every little news like the meta news last week seems to shake the market, which is very natural in a raging bull market. So I don't think that is the end of anything. I think we're still in the very, very early stages of demand for AI. I think the application layer is just starting out, and we've barely even touched the real innovation of AI, which is autonomy. I think the real innovation of AI, when things really start, is robotics in the agentic economy, and those are just starting, both of those. We barely even touched it. I just think we're in the early stage of this AI bull market. I know a lot of people are trying to call this an AI bubble, and we've hit the top, and it's similar to the.com boom and then crash. I think we're nowhere near it. I think we're still in the early 90s, and the application layer hasn't even started, which again is autonomy.
