Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back. So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills. But it turns out that's very illegal.
So there goes my big idea for the commercial. Give it a try at mintmobile.com/switch.

Up from payment of $45 for three months, $90 for six months, or $180 for 12 month plan required, $15 per month equivalent, taxes and fees extra, initial plan term only, greater than 50 gigabytes so when network is busy, see terms.

**Wes Goldberg** (0:30)
Where should LeBron play next? And what are the most overrated and underrated moves so far of the off season? Good Take is next.
All right, welcome to Good Take, Wes Goldberg here with Mike Shearer, the author of Basketball Poetry. We've got some takes about the most overrated and underrated moves of the offseason, and a summer three-way about a surprising team that we haven't talked about yet so far. But before we get to that, Mike, welcome back to Good Take. Dave Dufour filling in for you last week. You were away in Japan eating, I think, sushi probably.

**Mike Shearer** (1:09)
A lot of weird stuff, if I'm gonna be honest with you. Things I didn't even know you could eat.

**Wes Goldberg** (1:14)
Such as?

**Mike Shearer** (1:16)
Pickled stingray, I would say it was up there. That was a weird one.

**Wes Goldberg** (1:19)
Can you describe pickled stingray for our listeners who haven't had the pleasure of trying it?

**Mike Shearer** (1:24)
Yes, I would say it was the most complex flavor I've ever had. It was sort of like a rainbow of flavors. It started off very, very sweet, turned super fishy and then got quite umami bitter at the end.
Would I have it again? Probably not. Am I glad I had it once? Absolutely. It was the craziest tasting thing I've ever had.

**Wes Goldberg** (1:46)
Okay, this podcast is already going in a new direction. I need a setting, like what happened? How did this stingray end up in front of you?

**Mike Shearer** (1:53)
Oh, we went to, yeah, we went to a, like, so Japan doesn't really have like a huge beer culture yet, but we found a place that brewed their own beers and they also had a bar menu with a bunch of different, like, random things you could have, you know, and a lot of it is like sushi or like, you know, chicken gizzard or chicken tail skewers, things like that. And I didn't want any of that. And I saw their stingray and I'm like, well, I got to try stingray. Like I never had stingray before, you know, I'm here to try some weird stuff and boy, was it weird. So yeah, no, 10 out of 10 experience, two out of 10 tastes, everyone should try it.

**Wes Goldberg** (2:22)
So if I heard you right, you were drunk and you tried stingray and-

**Mike Shearer** (2:25)
That's exactly correct. Okay, very good. Off of mediocre beer. Yeah, nope, that's correct.
Would do again, maybe, probably not, honestly.

**Wes Goldberg** (2:34)
I didn't realize stingray was on my list, but you made it interesting enough that I will have to try that at some point.
So while you were away eating stingray and getting drunk on bad beer in Japan, LeBron James decided that he's no longer going to play for the Lakers. He's going to go out and test free agency. And we've had a lot of Rich Paul bringing out white porgs on podcasts. We've had a lot of talking heads discussing where they think LeBron should sign. We've heard from just about everybody on LeBron and where they think LeBron should play next, except for you, Mike, and you're basketball poetry, man. Like we got to hear from you. So what do you think? Tell us what you think about where LeBron should play next.

**Mike Shearer** (3:14)
Yeah, you know, it's kind of crazy when you miss 10 days of like the most pivotal part of the NBA offseason, and you're completely disconnected outside of like Onyeko, Kongu randomly being on your flight back. You know, you come back and you're just like drinking from a fire hose of like, wait, this guy signed where?

**SPEAKER_5** (3:30)
This dude opted out, this dude opted in.

**Mike Shearer** (3:31)
I feel like I'm way behind. I'm also very jet lagged, so forgive me if I just start going raving and ranting throughout. But like, there's a few places, the fun thing about LeBron is he can do anything on the court, which means he fits more or less anywhere.
