Hysteria is brought to you by Jones Road Beauty.
I love Jones Road Beauty Miracle Balm. I am trying to simplify my life, and Jones Road Beauty Miracle Balm does exactly what I need it to do, and takes up less space than all of the products that I would use to replace it if I didn't have it. I absolutely love it. It gives you an effortless, natural look. It is actually good for your skin. You can use it as a highlighter, bronzer, blush, lip tint. There's no rules, there's no rules with this. You can use it however you want.
The best part of Jones Road Beauty, all of their products, like I said, good for your skin. The formula is packed with skin-loving ingredients. It nourishes your skin instead of clogging or caking. It looks and feels natural, like you're not wearing makeup at all. All Jones Road formulas are clean and high-performing. They have no yucky stuff that I can't pronounce because clean beauty should be just the standard. Once I started simplifying my routine with Miracle Balm, I realized some days I want a little more coverage just without going back to the full complicated makeup routine and Jones Road actually just launched their foundation stick that fits perfectly into that. It's a foundation stick that even foundation stick skeptics will love. The Skincare Forward Foundation delivers buildable real coverage while feeling completely weightless on your skin. You'll love how it gives you medium to full coverage without ever looking cakey or heavy. It's dermatologist tested and packed with skin loving ingredients to nourish while you wear it. And the finish is really just natural looking, not too matte, not too dewy, just smooth, even healthy looking skin. It's available in 30 shades to match a range of skin tones. Modern day makeup that's clean, strategic and multifunctional for effortless routines. Hello and welcome to Hysteria. I'm Erin Ryan, and today I am so excited to be joined by reporter and White House correspondent, April Ryan. Welcome to Hysteria, April.
**April Ryan** (2:07)
Thank you for having me, Erin. I'm so excited. It's Ryan Squared today.
**Erin Ryan** (2:14)
It's two Ryan's. You're the first other Ryan we've had on the pod, and OG listeners to like Crooked Media Properties might remember that it was a long-standing inside joke that Paul Ryan was my dad, he's not my dad. But April, could we maybe start a new joke that you and I are cousins?
**April Ryan** (2:30)
I think so. I'm related to a lot of people, but it's so funny. I asked Paul Ryan, I said, do you think we're related? He looked at me and he said, yeah. We laughed about it.
My father told me, he said, there are not many black Ryan's, but I'm sure, and my daughter is doing ancestry.com, there are a lot of Ryan's and we are connecting to Ryan's in Texas, all over the place. Oh, great. You just might be my cousin.
**Erin Ryan** (2:54)
I'll see you at my family reunion in a couple of years.
**April Ryan** (2:57)
All right. I do a great chicken salad.
**Erin Ryan** (3:02)
Oh, heck yeah. Do it. Today, we are getting into some primary election results. The latest in Republican, Max Miller's snowballing awfulness, Republicans ongoing obsession with Dr. Fauci, plus friend of the show, Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan stops by to discuss her run for the US Senate and her favorite foods at the Minnesota State Fair. Then we wrap with Sandy Petty.
You're listening to Hysteria, the podcast that does not even want to fathom how awful DC in August smells when there are so many men walking around to only eat kimchi and steak. April. April, did you catch the news story this week that RFK Jr. is leading a veritable brigade of men in a diet that consists of meats and fermented cabbage?
**April Ryan** (3:51)
So let me say this, and I'm not going to give any credit to RFK Jr. who wrangled snakes at Dr. Oz's house. But what I will say, he does.
That's his hobby, his part-time job, I guess. But at the end of the day, fermented foods are supposed to be good for you.
And I guess if you're on that, if you have that sugar issue or some other health issues, meats and other proteins and vegetables are good for you. But I have a hard time believing Robert Kennedy Jr. I do. I just, I don't know.
