Sweetgreen, the premium chef-driven lifestyle brand known for its salad bowls, is suddenly going viral for its chicken Caesar wrap.
They are a public company, by the way. Ticker symbol is SG. The stock has already jumped more than 30% in the past week as the internet devours these new wraps. But can a viral menu item actually save Sweetgreen? If you didn't know, for the past year, the stock has been getting crushed by declining traffic and negative same store sales. Even after this rally, it's still down about 80% from its high in late 2024
TikToks about their new wraps started taking off last week. Millions of views, people arguing over whether influences are getting a bigger wrap than regular customers. Some people think it's overrated. Other people are completely addicted. But there is a bear market case. The Sweetgreen is supposedly this healthy lifestyle brand. Some of these wraps pushing 1200 calories. But do people care? Or is this one of those viral menu moments where everybody has to go try it for themselves? Today on Dumb Money, the Internet can't stop buying this wrap, so we bought the stock.

It has come to my attention that Sweet Green now has a chicken Caesar wrap. I was in the middle of doing my makeup and hair, and I was like, I need to eat this immediately. So I ordered it, and we're going to try it together. This is her. I ordered her with blackened chicken instead of with the chicken it comes with.
And then it comes with a side of Caesar dressing, but I just thought it would be so good to get the hot sauce because I love a little bit of spice. I'm so excited to eat this. My mouth is literally watering. I'm so hungry. It's 2.30, and I have not eaten yet today. So wow, that looks so good. Oh my gosh, I can't wait.

All right. So that's just one of a bunch of viral videos about this new wrap from Sweet Green. The influencers got me. I tried it yesterday for lunch. We'll get to my review in a bit, but seriously, I tried it not because of the TikTokers, but because I made a big bet on Sweet Green, the stock after Chris texted me that very TikTok.
And Chris, I understand you also have been to a Sweet Green store.

How come they only send those deals to the young girls? They should be sending this stuff to us, man. We went out and bought this on our own. Like nobody sent...

I had mine yesterday because I knew we were going to do the show, and I ordered it on Uber Eats, and I actually ordered two. I tried the viral Chicken Caesar, but I also got the Chicken Jalapeno Ranch.
