It's time to vote, and President Trump needs you. He cut taxes, secured the border, and put American workers first. Inflation is going down, jobs are going up, and the future is looking bright. DSA Democrats are so mad, they can't decide whether they want to abolish prison or put Trump there. Go to gopvotes.org right now. Defend Trump, defeat the DSA, vote early right now. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at noon East.
Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show and happy Monday. We have so much to get to today. So first of all, I want to see the Elizabeth Holmes documentary on, I don't know what night it was, over the weekend with Doug.
I'm going to say this, go see it. I think it's worth your time. It's three hours long.
I did not find the big shocking twist as shocking as everybody else did. You are kind of like, what's happening? What is this? I'm not going to spoil it for you, but like it's not as shocking as it was built up to be. However, it's fun to be surprised. You know, like we don't often get that at the movies, whether it's in a thriller or a drama or a documentary. Like it's tough to surprise you and to have filmmakers who take a risk and do something away you definitely have never seen before and didn't anticipate is fun. And here's the other thing I'll say about it. Doug and I bought tickets and you know how like now at most movie theaters you can reserve them online and you can reserve your seats and you know we did choose two seats but I never think about it much because the movie theaters are always empty and like whatever seats you get you can move your seats like nobody's ever there you know at most you have like 12 people in the theater these days I don't know if you've been to the movies at all lately but that's been my experience over the past couple of years so we walked in a little late and thank God we had reserved decent seats because ours were the only two in the theater that were empty. It was packed. It was like it used to be in the 90s. Everybody had filled a seat. I mean every single seat in the theater was filled. I think people were excited by the fact that the movie just hit this weekend and there'd been so much buzz about its big twist. All the reviews I read said was expect a big twist involving a well-known actress that did deliver. Again, I'm not going to ruin it for you. That did deliver. But I will tell you this and I'm going to we're going to take a deeper dive into this later this week. Okay. But I'll tell you this.
As I watched it and I got, you know, two thirds of the way into it, there is an explosive scene involving said actress, which made very clear to me why this is so beloved by the critics and many of the audience members. They, it did go political in this scene. It went political over someone who I happened to love. His name is Charlie Kirk and it was fucking ridiculous. It was ridiculous.
And I was in the midst of a bunch of leftists in the theater. I'm not going to ruin it for you again, but his name came up and one person was shitting all over Charlie and one person was defending him. And the person who was shitting all over Charlie is the person who's supposed to be heroic in this film. And the person who was defending him emerges as the villain of the entire movie. So it's just, you can't go anywhere. You cannot as a right-leaning independent or a conservative in America, you cannot go anywhere without having your core beliefs or people you admire or love dumped on by a Hollywood machine that just doesn't give two shits about you. Now, does this make me want to say don't go see the movie too? No, it doesn't. I mean, I would still have gone to see it, even if I'd been told this. I could understand why you might not.
