One day, four girls named Holly, Aubree, Brinley, and Zali were all trying to go to sleep. You see, tonight was a very hot night, and it was very, very hard to go to sleep. It's too hot, said Holly. I just can't go to sleep. Me either, said Aubree. Yes, said Brin. It's way too hot. I think I need to cut all my blankets so they got holes in them, so that it's better for getting the air through. I do the cutting of my blankets too, said Zali. You can't cut your blankets, said Holly. Why not, said Brin? Because that will wreck them, said Aubree.

Yeah, said Holly. And it's just a bad idea as well. Oh, okay. Well, maybe we need to come up with another plan, said Brin. As they were sitting and thinking, trying to work out how to cool down enough to be able to go to sleep, they heard a voice. You need a fan. Who said that, said Holly? All of a sudden, out of one of the toy boxes burst a purple fuzzy creature. Pim Pim, what are you doing here, said Aubree? Well, I heard you talking about how it was way too hot to sleep, and so I thought I would jump out and help. Well, that explains why you jumped out, said Aubree, but what are you doing in the toy box? Well, I was playing a game a few days ago and I was going to borrow one of Zahli's toys. I saw him borrowing one of the toys, so I closed the box. What, said Holly, you closed the box? Yes, I've been in there for a few days now. It has been very fun. There's lots of toys in there and I got to play with all kinds of them. Zahli, said Holly, you can't shut people inside toy boxes.

Hang on a second, said Zahli. What, said Aubree, Zahli went over to a different toy box and opened it up.

Oh, I've been in there for ages. Teddy Winkle, said Holly, what are you doing in there? I didn't, I shut him in the toy box. Yeah, she shut me in the toy box an hour ago. That was ages. Lucky it was only an hour for you. I've been in mine for days. Zahli, you can't shut things inside toy boxes. The toys go in the toy box and Teddy Winkle's teddy bear, he's like a toy. Ah, kind of. I can see how it would be confusing. Anyway, don't shut people in toy boxes. Sorry, said Zahli. That's okay, said Teddy Winkle. Yes, I had lots of fun. I really enjoyed it, said Pim Pim. But what about it being too hot, said Aubree. Pim Pim, you said something about a fan. Yes, you definitely need a fan. That is the best way to cool down. So I think I can help you find a fan. Ah, well, seeing I'm here, I may as well help as well. Oh, okay, said the kids. All right, Pim Pim, what's your plan? No, not plan, a fan. Yeah, I know we're trying to get a fan, but what's your plan for getting the fan? Now you're just getting confusing. We are not talking about plans. We are only talking about fans. I know we're talking about fans. No, you cannot be my fan. Actually, yes you can. Everybody loves the Pim Pim. I'm surrounded by fans. Ah, Pim Pim, I don't think those are the right kind of fans to help cool us down. Yes, said Brin, and I got plenty of those. What? said Holly. Yeah, there's heaps of people that follow me around and be like, Brinley, Brinley, you're the best.

Really? said Holly.

Yes, it is true. I have seen this, said Pim Pim. Well, either way, it's not going to help us cool down. Okay, well, I'm pretty sure that I saw a fan a little bit down the street, so let's go get that one. Um, okay, said the kids.

Are you sure this is an actual fan? said Teddy Winkle. Yes, of course, it is a fan. I saw it, and it will be perfect. Okay, let's go, said Pim Pim. So the kids went and told their parents that they were going to find a fan to help cool down their bedroom, and off they all went. As they were walking down the street, Zahli started to talk. Ah, the Pim Pim, um, with the fan, is it the big one that's on the house?
