Philip Anthony Mitchell is the real deal. Pastor Josh Howerton, real deal. You said, what did it do for you to be in the room with these dudes? It's stiff in my spine. Muhammad is not the same as Jesus. Islam is not the same as Christianity. This ain't a Democrat thing, this ain't a Republican thing, it is the Lamb of God for us.

I want to look into a camera, and I want to just say, Pastor Josh Howerton made space for me and a guy named Matt Chuning, a pastor out of Boston, to be at the table and to do a podcast together talking about ministry.

And then just said, I wanted you to meet Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell. And Pastor Matt had been friends with him for over 20 years. They have a lot of history there, but I'd never met him before. And I got the opportunity to just meet him very briefly. But one of the things that you need to know is that this man is just as genuine and real and passionate about Jesus when the cameras are off.

I mean, walking in to the room, this man is in prayer. This man is warring in the spirit. He's praying God would use him on a podcast.

And I think for many people, we just see the clips of him. I've only seen the clips of him. And Philip Anthony Mitchell is the real deal. Real deal. Pastor Josh Howerton, real deal. I'm grateful for two men who are contending for the faith at the level that they have contended for the sake of the gospel and face immense persecution. So much so that we literally heard in the podcast, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell wears a bulletproof vest when he travels and preaches.

I gotta ask you this, Pastor Ed. This is two people who, in my opinion, have the ear of America, right?

Yes, sir.

If not the world, in a global Christian sense, they have the ear and two individuals who are doing incredible work. And with all of the influence that Pastor Josh Howerton has amassed and all the influence that Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell has amassed, and to bring that together.

Yeah, it was the Avengers that came together, man.

Yeah, I'm telling you, and they come from different sects of Christianity.

You know what I'm saying? There's just so many differences there.

But they came together and pooled all that influence. What was it like to just, in my opinion, sit in real time and see a podcast that has already done incredible crazy numbers?

Yeah, it surpassed that particular week. Joe Rogan has been leading the game in podcasts. But that episode actually had more views than Joe Rogan's podcast that week.

The most viewed podcast, in my humble opinion, Somebody fact check me if I'm rolling this, the most viewed podcast for that week in the world was that.

And for you personally, to me that you respect. To be in the room. What was that like?

It was humbling.

To me, I have so much respect for these men because they are unabashed of truth. Unlike the video that we just watched. Yeah. It's the complete opposite. Wow. And just so you know, I really believe that's how we wanted this particular episode to be scripted. For you to go, okay, that's what it looks like just to be open handed about scripture and just kind of pick and choose. And then to come into the room, and these men are held hostage to the truth. Like, it literally is, I cannot but preach this gospel, or God kill me.

How dare I at any level take a liberty that's not my own?

Like literally, the holiness of scripture, these men were, that's how they approach it. It convicted me. It convicted me at every level. It drove me to be deeper in prayer. It drove me to be deeper in just the word. It drove me to be deeper about the fact like, in times, in Christ is coming. Because Pastor Josh said this to Philip Anthony Mitchell. He said, you're like a man that preaches every single sermon, does every podcast, like somebody's dangling over hell. And this is the last time they ever hear the gospel.

And he preaches that way. And I'm grateful. I really am. I am forever grateful. And these two men separately, Pastor Josh Howerton has a very successful God Breathe On podcast. I mean, he has millions. Like he's in the millions right now of followers that are listening to him. And then there's Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell that is traveling around the country doing a podcast. And took a lot of heat, man, for tickets for podcasts and dealt with all of that. I mean, square on, like just like it's out of his own pocket, out of his own generosity. It's not 2819 that's paying for these podcasts, him and a very dear friend of mine and Pastor Tim Timberlake. And I'm grateful. I'm a hooper by nature, so I'm just going to give a basketball analogy. When you play ball with somebody and they're on fire.
