Recommendations can be amazing.
I mean, maybe someone recommended that TV show you've been obsessed with lately. But when it comes to home projects, it's different. If you don't like a show, you might lose a few minutes. If you hire a friend of a friend of a friend to fix a leaky ceiling, you could end up with a flooded kitchen.
Maybe I know a guy just isn't enough for your home. That's why Thumbtack works so well. They'll match you with a top rated local pro, and you can see photos of past work, credentials, and reviews all right in the app. For your next home project, try Thumbtack. Hire the right pro today.

**Marques Brownlee** (1:14)
Sorry. Does this even work?
Give me a second.
**Andrew Manganelli** (1:17)
Andrew.
**Marques Brownlee** (1:26)
Yo, what's up, people of the Internet? Welcome back to another episode of the Waveform Podcast. We're your hosts. I'm Marques.
**Andrew Manganelli** (1:31)
I'm Andrew.
**David Imel** (1:32)
And I'm going to be the winner of the Trivia Extravaganza.
**Marques Brownlee** (1:34)
And that's because today we are all pitting ourselves against each other. And you heard it here first. This is the Trivia Extravaganza.
**David Imel** (1:42)
And I'm David.
**Marques Brownlee** (1:43)
Season four or something. Who knows what number it is. But the idea is we've been accumulating trivia points for the past couple of months slash years. I don't know how long it's been since the last one. And now we will be answering many more questions.
Plus, we'll have our existing points as a starting baseline. And we're going to have some fun. And hopefully we have a winner at the end of this. That means also over at the table, we have our esteemed panel, which is now Ellis, Rufus and Adam. You might remember the last Trivia Extravaganza, the score keeping becomes a big challenge. So they're going to hopefully keep score over there and keep us honest.
**Ellis Rovin** (2:21)
Yes.
**Marques Brownlee** (2:22)
And hopefully we learn something in the process. So take it away.
**Ellis Rovin** (2:24)
So yeah, no, we've got a lot of, we've got a few games coming back from the past. We have a lot of new games. We have some twists. We have some surprises. So without further ado, let's do some trivia.
In fact, but now we can bring it back in full glory. Do you hear the scary organ? We wanted to do like spooky theme this time.
**David Imel** (2:59)
It's not even Halloween.
**Adam Molina** (3:02)
Still spooky.
**Ellis Rovin** (3:03)
Did I get you?
**David Imel** (3:04)
That's pretty spooky.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:05)
I did think. I liked it Yeah.
**Adam Molina** (3:07)
Yeah.
**David Imel** (3:07)
Yeah.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:08)
Spooky. Is it all spooky questions?
**Ellis Rovin** (3:10)
No, actually nothing about it is spooky. I just didn't know what to theme it. You know, it's the return of trivia extravaganza. That's kind of what I was going for. Yeah. And that just felt kind of like vampiric.
**David Imel** (3:19)
Here's a spooky thing.
**Marques Brownlee** (3:21)
Yeah.
**David Imel** (3:21)
One plus is dead.
**Andrew Manganelli** (3:24)
That is recording you all the time.
**David Imel** (3:27)
Well, that's actually scary.
**Marques Brownlee** (3:29)
That is terrifying.
**Ellis Rovin** (3:30)
The first game we're going to be playing is made by Adam. And I think it is one of the greatest ideas for a game I've ever heard. But before I can tell you the game, I have to tell you the twist with this season's trivia extravaganza finale competition to the death. And that is for most of the game, not the whole game, but most of the game, you guys will be playing on teams.
The way this is going to work is two of you will be on a team at once trying to answer a question. One of you will be the odd man out. If the team gets it correct, both of you get the point. If you do not get it correct, the odd man out gets the point.
**Andrew Manganelli** (4:18)
And the odd man out doesn't have to answer anything? I want to be the odd man out.
