Terrell Owens knew the assignment. He did not know the case. On July 21st, Ben Crump's office put Owens' name on a reward, $25,000. Sharpton had already put up 50, Tyler Perry had put up 50, $125,000 for an arrest and a conviction in the Nolan Wells case.
That release was a sales record. A hall of famer rented his name to a grievance that had not been remotely proven. Nolan Wells drowned. There's no proof he was murdered, but Owens has 1.2 million followers on X on Twitter. Days after a Mississippi grand jury declined to recommend charges in the Nolan Wells case, Owens posted the demand in all caps. Arrest them immediately. That post linked to an Instagram video theorizing that Warren Hudson, Jack Pitalo and Morgan Seymour killed Nolan Wells and tampered with his phone.
The grand jury had already called the death consistent with drowning. Owens did not wait for a new fact. He waited for a crowd. This is that fire. Grab your Bible.
Edward Pulsik, the attorney that the people accused of killing Nolan Wells, the attorney they hired, he told the Associated Press, not only is Terrell Owens defaming these three young men, he's basically saying to the mob, get your pitchforks, get your torches.
That is the useful idiot in full uniform and in full action. Not the architect, the man they hand the megaphone to. Crump builds the call center, Sharpton builds the reward, Terrell Owens builds the mob. He's the useful idiot. A picture of Wells with white friends did all the recruiting. That is how you talk a dumb athlete into a grift. Monday, the fathers of Hudson, Pitalo and Seymour sued Terrell Owens in federal court. The boys are under 21 Mississippi law treats them as minors, so their fathers filed. The same Monday in Inglewood, Crump out in California stood with the parents and said, we have not closed our case and we refuse. We're still looking for the truth. We haven't closed the chapter of the Nolan and Xavier Wells' truth, the hunt for truth. Take a listen.

You're going to hear us talk about asking the FBI and the Department of Justice to intervene since the Mississippi District Attorney said after the grand jury proceeding that they have closed their case. And so, but we have not closed our case and we refuse to close the chapter on Nolan and Xavier Wells.

Yeah, Ben Crump's still looking for justice. And he's got Maxine Waters and Frederica Wilson involved in this now. They asked the National Park Service to investigate Horn Island as a federal land.
The lawyer did not back away from the grift. No one should be surprised. Sharpton, Crump, they're all the same. Sonny Holston. Now these people are all on notice though. The grand jury declined, declined to find any crime here or to punish anybody. But they've recruited the Hall of Famer, the useful idiot, Terrell Owens, and his 1.2 million Twitter followers to join in the hunt for justice, the hunt for the truth.
I'm so glad these fathers sued Terrell Owens. That is a step toward healing. Not because a lawsuit comforts a buried son, because it puts a price on the stunt that Ben Crump and Al Sharpton and Christine Wansley Wells have been pulling off. Nolan Wells' body was found off Wharram Island on July 6th. Both autopsies left the cause and the manner undetermined. The grand jury said accidental drowning is consistent with the evidence.
It's a drowning. The independent autopsy, maybe found some blunt force injury, but it's probably from falling down and hitting his head on his back.
These guys are not going to back away, but I'm glad that this gold jacket that Terrell Owens wears, he's going to pay a price for being used as a useful idiot. Owens pledged $25,000 for an arrested and conviction. The grand jury gave him neither. The guy's in trouble. Now, I hope the rest of these famous athletes realize what's happening to Terrell Owens. Hear the lawsuit, not the press release. You're famous and famous is not currency that you should be using or allowing Ben Crump to use you. False witness is still a witness, even in a gold jacket. Quit joining political stunts for money and clout. Owens read the line, arrest them immediately. Well, now the line hopefully will be an exhibit in a civil case that will cost Terrell Owens money. The question is not whether Owens feels bad. The question is whether a gold jacket outranks a grand jury. I hope that it doesn't. I hope they sue Terrell Owens into oblivion as a message to the rest of these dumb athletes that keep being used by politicians and grifters like Ben Crump.
