Oh, hi there, my good people of the Internet. It is me, it is Monday, it is 7 Oh, 7, okay. And let's get this show on the road before the kids go to bed, because I don't have much time. Anyways, there were some many of things happening. I'm gonna show you a glimpse into today's...

Just a jump scare, just to wake you up for... Because... My God! Yes, there was a... The Facebook event happened, so in case you didn't catch this, this was the Zuck. And, yes, but first, I hope everyone is doing fine, just fine. Twitch works, kick again. Doesn't work. Facebook, Twitch, kick. Yes, YouTube also works. All right. Very good. Very good, very good, very good. So, I'm going to post this to the Instagram. Also, copy link, this.

Link, paste, come.

And.

All right, so.

All right, all done. Yes, hope everyone is doing well. I am not. Got a bit of a cold, so if I sneeze throughout the live stream, then excuse you me, please. I am a bit of the sick, but nevertheless, the tech news must flow. All right, let's get into the thing. And jump scare. So the Meta Connect 2026 happened, and the Zuck got some new Perf Glasses! Yes! All right, of course, of course. So, the Zuck. This is not even the most controversial thing that happened, actually, on this event. But let's talk about the Glasses first, shall we? So, 1,300 for VR Glasses that are not VR Glasses? Wait, where is the better? Yeah, yeah, yeah, here it is. How are these now VR Glasses? These are not VR Glasses. Like, you can clearly see from the outside, you can see the outside world. It's not virtual reality if you can see the actual reality. These are augmented reality Glasses. AR, not VR Glasses, but okay, I guess we are making everything up as we go, apparently. So, this is the most highest end.

That Meda has now to offer aside from the Quest 3 So, these are, yeah, and there's a separate compute puck now that lives in your pocket. 100 grams, okay, the 100 grams is, it's, yes, it's a little bit kind of cheating, but, yes, Claude's film. Good morning, and welcome. Work, work, must go. Okay, well, if you must, then go, and do the work, and keep me updated on the garage, I guess, and on the projects. Maybe you can swing by at the end of the show or something? I don't know, we'll see. But thank you for hanging out for a quick sec at least. I appreciate it. Anyway, 100 grams. So is it 100 grams if the compute puck is like separately? So yeah, yeah. But I don't hate the idea necessarily that the compute puck is completely separate of it. Because again, yeah, you will have more battery life. You will keep the heat away from your face. The headset is lighter. It's like more comfortable. It's generally a good thing, but yeah, you need a pocket. Is the downside, I guess. And I guess the wire also, but you will be a weirdo anyway. So what's the, what's the, what's the downside? So, basic, yeah. And it's rated for Dolby, like IMAX enhanced certified VR device, whatever that means. But it's a whatever, I guess, basically, because it is OLED, which is nice. This is a pretty big, but with that kind of money, I would hope so. And again, you are the product, as we all know, with Facebook. So, yeah, that's why the Steam frame is like, yeah, also a thousand, but you are paying basically also that you, they don't sell your data, like the good old Zuck does. So the very minimum, what I can expect from these is like a really good movie, TV show watching experience, probably, but not like gaming, because that's not what they are meant for.

So, but yeah, I mean, we'll see when they come out, but my only gripe really is like VR glasses, really, that's what you're going for. Why not like AR glasses, or at the very least MR mixed reality glasses, which would be the correctest term, I would feel like, but oh well. Anyways, so, but let's move on. We have some more Perf glasses, but this time Meta and the Zuck are kind of getting like, oh yeah, people don't really like the term Perf glasses. So let's take out the Perf a little bit. So we have now microphones, but not the cameras. And they're cheaper, they're 350, which, okay, I guess. So these are basically glorified headphones as a, well, you can interact with the AI thing, say, hey Meta, and to activate the assistance, but yeah, and you can listen to music, and you can talk to the Meta AI, I guess. And you can, yeah, you can get Meta, their juicy and delicious audio data.
