And so we're so glad that you're with us this morning. Just a couple of announcements for you. First off, if you haven't joined the team yet, RLC 101 is happening today after the third service. You say, I'm in the second. It's happening after third. I'll feed you after third. If you need a snack in between, run up here to Speedway and get you a little granola bar and come back after third service. We'll feed you then, but RLC 101 is the place where you hear mission, vision, values of our church and how to join the team. It's that simple. How many of you already connected to a team? You're already serving somewhere. Come on, come on. Give yourselves a good hand clap for serving today. Amen. If you're not serving, I wanna let you know your spiritual growth is probably on a trajectory that's probably a little bit slower because God accelerates spiritual growth. That's if you wanna grow.
He accelerates spiritual growth through serving. As we give our lives to others, as we give our lives to the mission of God, then God begins to speed up. And I firmly believe what you wanna see happen in your life, you better start making happen in somebody else's life. Come on now. And so serving is a great way to do that. So RLC 101 is happening today after third service. Then water baptism's coming up. Come on, we're gonna celebrate those that are gonna go public with their faith. And we're doing that August the 2nd.
They're clapping because first service, they said July the 12th, which that's already passed. Amen. He is Alpha and Omega, so whatever.
August the 2nd, after our first and third service, we will have water baptism. So if you never went public with your faith, again, water baptism doesn't save you, but you've already made Jesus the Lord of your life. As you made Jesus the Lord of your life, your next step is water baptism. You're signifying that I'm gonna signify with the death, burrow and resurrection of Jesus, and I want everybody to know it. Praise the Lord. So make sure you sign up for that. That's on Church Center. You can also sign up for RLC 101 on Church Center. And then finally, August the 2nd through the 8th is seven nights of prayer and worship. So we do this a couple times a year. And I want to put you on alert about this one.
The Lord has been downloading some things in my heart about this next season. How many know that you take ground? You may not know, but I'm going to tell you if you don't. You don't take ground in the natural first. In other words, for the church to expand and continue to reach into this region, both locally, nationally and globally, that it takes, we first gotta get ground spiritually before we get ground naturally. And so what seven nights of prayer does, is this seven nights of prayer will not be about you.
The seven nights of prayer will be about the souls of this region. God has placed something very specific on my heart for this season of prayer. And I really believe that we're gonna push back darkness in prayer. Come on somebody, we're gonna pray, we're gonna worship, we're gonna push back darkness, we're gonna believe God for your family members, your friends, our community, our region, our state, our nation, our world, and we're gonna trust God to bring revival to this world and see souls like, listen, we're not done, we're not comfortable, I'm not satisfied with where we are, and the only way to push forward first is not with a business plan.
