Okay, let's get real about health care for a second. I think we can all agree it doesn't always work the way it should. If you've ever waited on a prescription refill or had a hard time getting the care you needed, you know what I mean. The system should just work better, for everyone. That's exactly what the people at Optum are trying to do every day. They're a health care company linking patient care and pharmacy services and using data and technology to drive the whole system. So care is connected, not complicated, for patients and providers.
Things like making it easier to get care that looks at the whole person, from primary care doctors to mental health support and even in-home care, and then using technology to make sure they all work together. Technology designed to help doctors spend less time on busy work and more time with their patients. And those prescriptions? Optum is bringing costs down, saving patients money and making it easier to get refills. Little by little, Optum is helping make health care work as one for everyone. Head to business.optum.com to see how.

**Alice Wilder** (1:31)
Hi, Reema.

**Reema Grace** (1:33)
So as many of you all know, Alice, you're our producer for the show and we've been doing this thing lately that we call Alice Gets Her Life Together, where, Alice, you're trying to get your finances in order, you're laying bare your finances for the emotional benefit of others. Truly a generous act. Last time we talked, you said you wanted to get a handle on your subscriptions, and I've been thinking about joining you on this one because I, too, have a bunch of subscriptions that I need to sort out.

**Alice Wilder** (1:58)
Oh my gosh, yes, please join me. I'm curious, like, what can you remember currently that you are subscribing to?

**Reema Grace** (2:05)
Well, I think one of the themes I noticed is that I'm signed up to, like, all of the streaming channels.

**Alice Wilder** (2:11)
Are you, like, one of those people who carries the whole community on their back when it comes to streaming services?

**Reema Grace** (2:18)
I have all the streaming channels. And yes, that's because I hand out my password and username, like, it's free candy.

**Alice Wilder** (2:24)
You should get, like, a tax write-off for that, honestly.

**Reema Grace** (2:26)
I feel like I should.
Everyone, like, my siblings, my parents, they use my password and username. And, you know, even the other day, I realized I'm paying for Spotify, but I get Apple Music for free through my credit card. So I was like, OK, I have to cancel Spotify. And then I told my brother, and then he screen-shotted me in this chat, this group chat he's in with his high school friends, because they're all on my Spotify account.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:49)
And they were like, no!

**Reema Grace** (2:51)
She can't cancel it, because they've been on my Spotify for the last 10 years.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:55)
Oh my God.

**Alice Wilder** (2:55)
Your little brother and all his friends. I'm like, they have jobs. Come on.

**Reema Grace** (2:59)
I know. At this point, I'm like, OK, you're not 16 anymore. You're like 25
I have Amazon, I have Hulu, I have Apple. But then I also noticed that I'm subscribed to smaller PBS documentaries because there was a week where I really got into Jane Austen, and I wanted to watch the four-part series on her. And then there was two weeks where I got into anime, so then I subscribed for Crunchyroll for $10 a month. And I just have yet to cancel them, which is insane.

**Alice Wilder** (3:27)
No, I think the thing that gets me is I'll do a free trial of an app and I'll make a calendar event that's like cancel the app. But then somehow I always cancel it too late. And then they're like, OK, it's canceled, but you have already paid for a year of this app.

**Reema Grace** (3:39)
Yeah. What were some of the big subscriptions that stood out to you?

**Alice Wilder** (3:44)
Oh my gosh. Well, definitely a bunch of apps like this stretching app called Bend and I like it a lot, but also they have like free stretches on there. And I'm like, I don't need a specialized custom blah, blah, blah stretching routine.
