Kip Wightman (0:05)

I'm living with my in-laws, we all know that. As we look to buy a house here, sell a house where I was, it's my wife and I and our dog.

David Lutteral (0:13)

It sounds like hell on earth, man.

I'm not going to lie to you. And this is not being disrespectful to your in-laws. They sound like wonderful people. They probably need some sort of noble peace prize for what they've done, because it's just a cluster.

Claire (0:25)

It is.

Kip Wightman (0:26)

And now the brothers moved home as well from overseas.

Claire (0:28)

He sounds like a nightmare.

SPEAKER_5 (0:30)

So it's all of us.

Kip Wightman (0:32)

So it's a busy house.

You know, we've got an 11 month old child. We have the socially anxious dog that is Pam. We come with a tribe.

Ash Bradnam (0:39)

And they've got a dog as well?

Kip Wightman (0:40)

They've got two dogs.

Ash Bradnam (0:41)

They've got two dogs.

David Lutteral (0:42)

Is it socially anxious?

Kip Wightman (0:43)

No, there's aren't socially anxious. Pam's on meds, not their dogs.

Anyway, I'm trying to help out around the house as much as I can, because we're in their space. They're having us. It's been three months now we've been there. That's a lot. It's a long time. It is a long time. And everyone is doing pretty well. But I can tell right now, you know, it's starting to feel a bit smaller and smaller and kind of feeling a bit more on top of each other. And I noticed that the lawn is getting more and more overgrown. Because you know, these days, you do the lawn every two weeks. Yeah, because of the weather.

Ash Bradnam (1:10)

It's all that rain and humidity.

Kip Wightman (1:12)

Yeah. So I said to my father-in-law, like genuinely, I joke about that he doesn't trust me to do things. But I said, I'll do the lawn for you because it's a bit longer. He's got the mower and the whipper snipper. I can do it. Do the lawn. He truthfully is not letting me touch his lawn.

He was like, no, it's fine. I can do it. He's busy as. He's obviously full-time. He's a dentist. He's doing all his stuff.

David Lutteral (1:32)

He's working big hours. Is it next level manicured?

Kip Wightman (1:35)

It's not that nice. But he said he doesn't trust me to do the edges. What's the problem? To do the whipper snipper.

Ash Bradnam (1:42)

It's probably after you reversed your car into the wall.

Kip Wightman (1:46)

Oh, their car.

Ash Bradnam (1:47)

And their driveway. He probably realizes you're not very coordinated. Edging is difficult. Like I can do it, but I don't know if I trust you either.

Kip Wightman (1:54)

I just couldn't believe it.

David Lutteral (1:56)

Can we just isolate that?

Kip Wightman (1:58)

Do you want to get that isolation?

Ash Bradnam (2:01)

I can relate to it because Cliff in our house, he lets me do the lawn. But once he was unwell for a period and my dad was doing our lawn and Cliff had to tell him to stop.

Kip Wightman (2:11)

You didn't like it?

Ash Bradnam (2:11)

No, because it wasn't done well enough. Like if you're a particular OCD person, which Morgan's dad is.

David Lutteral (2:17)

What are you doing, lines in the grass or what are you doing?

Ash Bradnam (2:19)

I think that what happens if people aren't experienced enough, they run over the sprinkler heads or they...

David Lutteral (2:27)

Most people don't have sprinkler heads. Do you live at Suncourt Stadium?

Does Royal Troon have sprinkler heads? Do you live through golf course?

Ash Bradnam (2:36)

Most people have sprinkler heads. Or the other thing is that you might go off the edge and like sculpt a section of it.

Kip Wightman (2:45)

Yeah, you're right. I just love...

He said Cliff and my father-in-law sound the exact same.

Ash Bradnam (2:49)

They sound so similar.

Kip Wightman (2:50)

Because I thought he was joking. He's not. He's like, no, genuinely, I'll do it. Like he finds time, like a spare half an hour that he has on his weekend, even if that just so he can do the lawn, just so I will not do it. Like he doesn't trust me to do anything.

Ash Bradnam (3:02)

Yeah. Yeah. People get really upset about their lawns. I mean, I try when I was helping Cliff do the lawn for that period last year when I wasn't working. I was trying to get out of it. I was trying to wreck it just so he would tell me not to do it.
