What do you hide from your partner? So, I've got these really special cherries covered in chocolates that I've got.
And they are so delicious that I have to hide them. Otherwise, my husband will just eat them.
David Lutteral (0:20)
Chocolate coated cherries, so the only place you can hide them is in your fridge.
Susie O'Neill (0:25)
No, I don't put them in the fridge because it's pretty cold at the moment.
I'm not even in the fridge. I was keeping them in my...
SPEAKER_4 (0:30)
For the melt or something.
Susie O'Neill (0:31)
I've got an office at my house.
SPEAKER_4 (0:33)
I know.
SPEAKER_5 (0:34)
That's where you do your business.
SPEAKER_4 (0:35)
That's where I do my business. My admin and stuff.
Susie O'Neill (0:37)
And so, I was hiding them in my office for ages. And then I thought, oh, you know what, I'll just, I'll hide them in the pantry. I'll just put them in the pantry because they're in a paper bag. They look like a really old fashioned paper bag because they're from this health food shop rolled up. So, I thought I'd sneak them and put them in the pantry for a bit.
Kip Wightman (0:52)
Between some things?
Susie O'Neill (0:53)
Yeah, and Cliff will never see them in here. He found them, like he sniffed them out and found them and started eating them. And then all of a sudden, I look like an idiot because I say, Cliff, they're my cherries.
Please don't eat them.
Kip Wightman (1:07)
What's mine is yours.
Susie O'Neill (1:08)
Well, he is a strange sort of, you know, But you're married, so you've got to share every thing.
David Lutteral (1:13)
Yeah, I mean, that could open up. I mean, if you break down what's mine and what's yours in that circumstance, there's a million different ways that could go.
Susie O'Neill (1:20)
So, it's better for me just to be open with it.
SPEAKER_4 (1:22)
But then just to hide them.
SPEAKER_5 (1:24)
Just to hide them.
David Lutteral (1:27)
Well, buy him some. No, that's not an option either.
Kip Wightman (1:32)
My mate hides chocolate from his, sorry, she hides chocolate from him. A friend of mine hides, like they're a couple. She hides chocolate from him because she thinks that he's getting too large.
SPEAKER_7 (1:42)
That's offensive.
Kip Wightman (1:44)
But he still finds it out. They always find it and snack it out. He's a midnight snacker too, so he'll find it in the middle of the night.
Susie O'Neill (1:50)
Well, Cliff's not too large. I mean, he could do with a couple of kilbers. But we were talking before about some of the things that people hide from their partner here in the office.
Kip Wightman (1:57)
Yeah.
Susie O'Neill (1:58)
And producer number three, Lockie, had a good one. What he hides?
Lockie (2:01)
Yeah, I hide Banh Mi purchases.
David Lutteral (2:05)
Banh Mi?
Susie O'Neill (2:06)
Those Vietnamese rolls.
David Lutteral (2:07)
I had one of them yesterday, actually.
Kip Wightman (2:09)
They're very nice.
Lockie (2:09)
The place I go to accepts cash only, so what I will do is I'll go to Coles or Woollies and get cash out there rather than going to the bank and getting cash out so it's hidden on the bank transactions.
SPEAKER_4 (2:20)
Not on the statement.
David Lutteral (2:21)
Why does she not want you to have Banh Mi?
Lockie (2:24)
Times are tough. We're trying to save money.
SPEAKER_4 (2:26)
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Kip Wightman (2:27)
She sees he's having a Banh Mi on a Tuesday and she's eating like a veggie sandwich.
David Lutteral (2:30)
Banh Mi is your guilty pleasure, you filthy minx.
SPEAKER_9 (2:34)
Dirty dog.
Kip Wightman (2:36)
Dirty dog.
SPEAKER_4 (2:37)
Oh, God.
Kip Wightman (2:39)
I bought off the back of the Broncos Grand Final when I was there, and I was a bit twisted.
Susie O'Neill (2:43)
What do you mean by drunk?
Kip Wightman (2:44)
Yeah. I bought shares in the Bronx straight after that game. What?
SPEAKER_4 (2:49)
Yeah.
Kip Wightman (2:49)
You can buy shares in the Broncos.
Susie O'Neill (2:51)
What a bad investment.
SPEAKER_4 (2:52)
Yeah.
Kip Wightman (2:52)
But $500 of shares post-Grand Final in a sports club, which is very turbulent. It was not the smartest call of our combined income.
Susie O'Neill (3:01)
How did you hide it though?
Kip Wightman (3:02)
Well, we're very bad at shares.
SPEAKER_4 (3:05)
She doesn't check it.
Kip Wightman (3:06)
She only actually found out more recently when she's like, let's sell all those shares because they're not doing anything. And when I was like, why do we have shares in the Brisbane Broncos?
