Hey, warm welcome to the Risk Reversal Podcast. I'm Guy Adami, the handsome man you see there, just back from the Mumford and His Son concert in Chicago, Illinois. It's Stormy, Chicago. That's Dan Nathan. Hello, Dan.
**Dan Nathan** (1:08)
Hi, Guy Adami. I had a great night there. I was with our very good friends, Colleen and Anita from CME Group. I was there with Danny Moses.
Danny Moses. That guy likes to get down, by the way. I'm just going to be really honest with you. He likes to get down. No, we had a great concert. There was a huge tornado that rolled through there. The concert didn't start until 11 p.m. That was Thursday night. We're recording this Friday, late afternoon, and we got out of there probably like 1:30 a.m., that sort of thing. Can you just imagine Ricketts, if he was there in the crowd, he would have been sleeping through that whole thing.
So, good thing that he probably missed that night, but who knows? This is really cool, Guy. This podcast right here, this is a RiskReversal Podcast. You're listening to this on a Monday morning, but we're going to do another segment here. It's going to be the Okay Computer Podcast. My very good friend, Ann Bordetsky, is joining me. She is a prolific VC, very early in some companies like Perplexity. I think she led their A round when she was at NEA. So, she is a solo GP investor right now, and I'm really excited to have her join us. Talk all things data center and AI, and you know the drill, Guy.
**Guy Adami** (2:15)
I'd be fast to go after that.
**Dan Nathan** (2:17)
What do you want to do today? So, you and I are looking, like everyone else in the markets, we're staring at a ticker that is SPCX. I listened to you and Liz Thomas of SoFi on Friday's pod. She said that this week might be the most important week with the SpaceX pricing, Fed chair, Walsh's presser. On Wednesday, we had the CPI, you know, the prior Wednesday.
What is, is this that important of a week to you? Because the market is back on its, you know, I guess it's back on its horse, as you might say.
**Guy Adami** (2:50)
And you know, what the other thing we'll mention is the fact that apparently, and I use the word apparently, because we've heard this a number of times over the last couple of months, but you know, some sort of peace agreements in the work and the market's sort of taking its cues from that to the upside. And there's this renewed interest in risk assets, at least in the short term. So we'll see how long lasting that is. But Liz's point and the point that I sort of made with her was, yeah, the importance, I don't think can be overstated. Obviously, the Fed meeting, it's Kevin Warsh's first. I don't expect anything, but people will be watching closely just as he or she try to sort of glean anything they can from his mannerisms. I think that'll be fun. We're earnings are pretty much through earnings. And we're now in the aftermath of the SpaceX IPO, which at the current price that it's trading at puts it north of $2.2 trillion market cap, which as Amanda mentioned prior to this show makes it the sixth most valuable company in the world. A company, by the way, that was created in 2002 And Amanda in her notes mentioned the fact that when Elon Musk started this company some 24 years ago, he thought there was about a 10% chance that would be successful. Now here we are in June of 2026 and it's made itself into the top 10, almost the top five most valuable companies in the world. So yeah, I do think it's an important week.
