Just as we predicted here in the Variety Program, wasn't a lot of people that were talking about Mealot from Colorado on Tuesday. And they are now.

This morning, I put it in the group chat that everybody are listeners too. But over here, a lot of credit to Michael Duncan, because he was like, he's been tracking the communist writ large, but also this specific race. And he was like, we need to really get into it and let our listeners know about this commie running in Colorado.
Because he was like, I think the commie is gonna win. The Dems didn't think that. I should say, the establishment Dems didn't think that.

Well, they had a maid woman, as we said, Diana DeGette, somebody who is well known in democratic circles, been around since, I don't know, the first turn of the earth in Congress. And again, like we said on the Tuesday episode, this is not a New York, oh, of course in New York, they picked the commies. This is in Colorado.

It's everywhere.
It was beyond that before, but every time, so the way that this stuff works in DC, political communications has always been going on about what these elections are going to be about, how a party is being perceived, this, that, and the other thing. And when Mamdani was elected, everybody was like, ah, it's just a city. Look, this is a very specific, isolated case. Sure, we have a radical Islamic terrorist socialist as a mayor of New York City on the 25th anniversary of 9-11. Sure. But that electorate is kind of individual. We're a big tent party. That's what Democrats would tell reporters.
And those of us who also have talked to reporters over the years, and pundits and everything else, we're like, yeah, but did you see what just happened in Jersey? Or did you see what happened in these local races? Or the mayor of LA situation? Or all of these things were kind of coming together, and then all of these races that Democrats didn't want to have on the map at all were becoming very problematic. And Democrats were like, Pat, this is not... These things don't happen out west. They don't happen in the Midwest. They certainly don't happen in the south. It's Manhattan proper. That is just kind of an epicenter of this woke liberal thing, and it's not indicative of our party as a whole.
