Welcome back to the Ruthless Variety program. It is DSA versus USA. The Civil War and the Democratic Party has been fought and won by something other than Democratic establishment. I'm Josh Holmes, along with comfortably Smug, Michael Duncan and John Ashbrook, left to right across your radio dial as always. Fellas, I'm just taking a look at the results. We were reliably told that this was something that was confined to the boroughs of New York. A Mabdani phenomenon.
It doesn't look like it. It seems like communism, socialism, anti-Americanism is alive and well and maybe the heart beat of the Democratic Party at this point, doesn't it?

And we're not even talking about, this is not just like congressional districts.
This is a statewide, right here. That's what the DSA took down the other night is, it's gonna be a statewide race in Michigan. This is not something that's happening in New York City like Holmes said. This isn't even just a thing that's happening. Oh, you know, you heard Colorado's going a little lefty. It's not just a crazy little thing happening there. It's happening in Michigan.

It's not some weird congressional race. This is the heart of the industrial Midwest, ladies and gentlemen. And this is the party that this is what they have to provide. It is fundamentally un-American.

They're anti-American. They want to destroy Western civilization, America included, and it's in the charter. Secondly, they believe that an economic system that has raised more people out of poverty than all of socialism in the history of it combined is the problem. They want to 25 years remove from 9-11. They want you to believe that our oldest and most significant ally in the Middle East is the problem in Islamic radicalism. Jihadism is the answer to it.
If you would have told me that any of this stuff was even within the realm of possibilities five years ago, I would have said, that's a fever dream.
