It is, we're doing cultural exchange between two wonderful cities.

You know what we should do is just like every episode, we just take the train between both cities. So I'll be in New York every other week, and you'll be in Chicago every other week. So we can just keep doing this. We can keep recording in person.

God, I was so excited to do this one, too. I was so excited to do the main Simone Collins and Malcolm Collins episode. But this, so I'm realizing this one is probably the biggest beast of a B-side we've done. I think they're normally just like freeform. We talk about articles, we talk about emails, but this is like, there's a lot more about these two.

I think that in general, when we do these B-sides, sometimes it's like, oh, we pretty much said everything we wanted to say on the main episode. And so it's mostly just let's read some letters and an article that has something to do with the topic at hand. This is going to be a comprehensive B-side, getting into some of the stuff that we didn't get to talk about on the main episode, because in the period between when we recorded and now, I have continued for some fucking reason to read more about what has been going on with these people in no small part because their fans have been so receptive to our work and so I just wanted to make sure I had the opportunity to do the fan base well.

And so I guess we might as well do what we always do. Before we dig into today's subject matter, we are just to frame up what this episode is gonna be. We're gonna be talking a little bit more about specifically Malcolm Collins and his approach to the more ideological side of the movement, I would say, and sort of what that exposure has looked like. We're also going to be looking at their home education system.

Wow. Really needed an ill conceived discord this week to see everybody put Josh on blast for inadvertently, but successfully gaslighting June into not only thinking Aragorn, son of Erethorn says the line, one does not simply walk into mortar. But also that Sean Bean is Viggo Mortensen. You fucking gaslit the hell out of me. You're like, I'm Josh. I have more cultural knowledge. I've watched The Simpsons. I know everything there is to know.
