Elizabeth Siders just stood in a Vinton County courtroom and pled not guilty to 23 felony and misdemeanor charges. She's the mom in the Brady Bunch Extraordinaire Reboot, known as the Siders 16 Kids, which clearly is a bit off the rails from the original concept of the show. It seems to be a little more than the original run of Brady Bunch. Locking the kids. I don't think that was part of the original plot line. Oh, it's not the Brady Bunch. It's just a horror story that's happening in real life. Oh, okay. Elizabeth Siders stood in that Vinton County Court when she pled not guilty. To 23 felony and misdemeanor charges. Visibly pregnant. She listened as her attorney told reporters she still asks about her kids' by name. That's special. Her bond, a massive $550,000, $300,000 for endangerment, and another $250,000 for felony charges. Tied to doing what she did to a child who isn't even one of hers. Let's talk about what those children looked like before you have any sympathy for she wants to see them again. Because I don't know that they feel the same way. Although they might. I mean, there's a trauma bond. I'm sure that is going on here. It doesn't mean it needs to be perpetuated and continued in any way, shape or form. Let's talk about what those children looked like when authorities finally found them. On June 30th, 16 of them.

It's like a classroom.

It's like a classroom of children. Picture that. 16, crammed into a tiny 12 by 12 foot room in Hamden, Ohio, living in filth, feces and insects. The attorney general called it pure evil. Seven of those kids were rushed to the hospital. Two apparently had to be airlifted to trauma centers, and one ended up on a ventilator in the ICU. Sheriff Ryan Cain didn't mince words. He said, most people keep their livestock in better conditions. The oldest child is 18 years old and can't even smell her own name. That's mom of the year there for you. But she might be a victim too. Is she?

I believe there's probably an element that's very true too. But at the same point, I'm sorry. You had every off road and off ramp you could possibly have taken to protect your children and you chose not to go down any of them. I simply, in this case, don't give a fuck. I don't care. I don't care. For talking early on here before you had 16, if you were at like one and you were a victim, brought into this hellhole and this hellscape, aside from you literally being tied up and not allowed to leave.

I'm sorry. There's accounts of you going into the family dollar with the kids walking around. You had off ramps. And you chose this as a life style.

Whether you meant to or not, 16 lives have been affected by your poor decision making. And I'm sure there's mental illness involved, and I'm sure there's a lot of shit involved here. But I can guarantee there's been enough consciousness of your actions over the last 18 years.

And you knew what you were doing was wrong. And for that, zero sympathy.

The oldest is 18 years old and can't even spell our own name. Attorney General Andy Wilson admitted that if they had arrived just 24 hours later, they'd likely be counting bodies. I find that hard to believe too. I find it hard to believe that you just got in there in the nick of time, Andy.

This has been going on for 18 years. You're telling me that you just happened to randomly show up in the nick of time. You weren't even, this wasn't even on your radar. And you just happened to be there. No, I don't buy that for one second. These kids would have suffered. Probably more would have eventually died, probably buried in the backyard. I'm guessing there's probably bodies back behind many of the yards that they lived in over the many years. It'll be a fun discovery to make.

Just conjecture. Message from Lindsey Buggler slash Buggler slash Buggler. But I don't, I'm not buying your bullshit, where the hero's rushing in and got him just in time. While your state failed over and over and over and over.

To step in when it actually mattered most. So, spare me the Superman has just shown up to the rescued bullshit line, because I don't buy it for a fucking second. The system and the Siders both have a lot of blame to go around here. For every single one of those 18 years, Elizabeth Sider was their mother. Now, the defense is building a narrative that she didn't realize what she was doing to them. But that argument simply falls flat, and the paper trail proves it. She was just 15 when she married 18-year-old Gary Siders, Jr. in Mason County, West Virginia. She had finished 8th grade and was already 7 months pregnant. A judge signed off because at the time, the state had no minimum marriage age with parental consent. Her first child was born just two months after the wedding. Do the math on that. Her second arrived before she even turned 17
